"Dad, wake up!" Nagising ako dahil sa matinis na boses na sigaw ni Ash kasabay ng pagyugyog niya sa akin.
"D*mn. Oo na, tatayo na!" Naiirita na sabi ko at umupo sa kama habang nakapikit pa rin ang mata. Gusto ko pang matulog, gusto ko pang humiga at bumalik sa dream land.
Gusto ko pa matulog!
A sudden hit on my face making me startled.
"Dad! I said, wake up!" Sigaw ni Ash sa tainga ko.
Kunot-noo akong nagmulat ng mata, gumawa ng snow ball at binato sa kaniya. 'Ah bad trip, bruh.' I messed my already messy hair and went inside my bathroom.
Pagkatapos maligo, nagbihis na ako ng uniform. After that, lumabas na ako. Smelling that delicious fragrance, my stomach grumbled. Smell so delicious. It can compare to my cooks, ah~ I wanna eat.
I went to the kitchen and saw little Ash preparing breakfast. Woah. Little Ash impressed me. He actually cooked? He's just staying on my place for just some time but he already knew cooking. I smiled amusedly.
"Woah! Ang bango niyan Ash!" Sabi ko, almost sounded praising him. He looked at me and smiled proudly.
"And this is delicious too." He said.
The corner of my lips tugged up and sit in a chair. He serve me and his own, and sat in front of me.
"Dad?" He called me while eating.
"Hmm?" I hummed without looking at him.
"Can I go to school too?" He asked me, I looked at him. I creased my forehead and gaze at him confusedly. He wanted to go at school? Pity, worry and sadness filled my heart while looking at him but I quickly concealed it.
"No." Tipid na sagot ko at sumubo ng pagkain. Oh how I wanted to help this little kid but I can't. He stopped and looked at me.
"Why, dad?" He asked while his eyebrows meeting. Ang cute naman ng bata na 'to.
"You're too young to go in a school, kiddo. You need to reach your 15 age first before going to school and study." Sabi ko. His lips parted and was about to say something but I added, "And there was no pre-school or elementary here."
His shoulder and face fell and continue eating with his sad face. I pursed my lips and think of a way to make him happy. 'Geez what's happening to me? This is not me- I supposed to be heartless but because of this kid...'
After eating, nagpaalam na ako sa kaniya. Walang gana lang siyang tumango. I sighed, before I went out of the dorm, I told him something.
"May gagawin tayo mamaya." Lumabas na ako at dumiretso sa section ko. Hindi pa ako nakakaabot sa room nang may nakabanggaan ako. He fell and spread his things.
He quickly stand up and find something like blind man. I looked at his things and sighed. Umupo ako at pinulot isa-isa ang mga gamit niya habang siya ay patuloy pa rin sa pagkapa.
Then I felt something on my feet, a glasses. I look at guy, I think this glasses belongs to him. I picked the glasses and give it to him, he took and wear it. He thanked me but his eyes suddenly widened in shock. His lips slightly parted and he seems to froze on his place.
Inabot ko sa kaniya ang mga gamit niya, kinuha niya naman ang mga iyon habang nanginginig ang kamay. 'What's wrong with this guy?'
"Thank you! Thank you!" Sabi niya, yumuko ng bahagya at tumakbo paalis.
Nagtataka naman akong tumingin sa papalayo na bulto niya. Takot ba siya sa akin? Pero mahina ang dating Ace, diba? Hindi naman ako nangangain ng tao ah? 'Ay nangangain pala ako, rorr.'
