Heart's POV
Andito ngayon ako sa faculty room kasama sina Ashtine at Fatima para humingi ng listahan ng ibang requirements namin in advance for the next semester. Kasama na rin lahat ng dapat bayaran.
"Thank you po." Sabi namin sa huling professor na hiningan namin at lumabas na.
"You really do things in advance talaga no?." Sabi ni Fatima.
"Well, mabuti na yung handa. Sabi kasi ni Mommy na masamang makaugalian ang pagpoprocrastinate. Ang kaya mong gawin ngayon, gawin mo na." Sabi ko.
"How ironic." Pabirong sabi ni Ashtine.
"Why?." Takang tanong ko.
"You're saying na ang kaya mong gawin ngayon, gawin mo na. Sige nga, umamin ka sa feelings mo for Yumi." Sabi ni Ashtine.
"W-well--"
"Ang tanong, may plano ka pa ba talagang sabihin sa kanya?." Sabi ni Fatima, crossing her arms.
"I-I don't know, okay?. Ewan, di ko alam, baka, pwede, posible."
"Are you still afraid to risk your friendship?." Sabi ni Ashtine.
"No. I'm afraid to risk our friendship. I don't think Bianca would like it. Saka, mukha namang mahal nila ni Yumi ang isa't isa. Who am I to stand in their way?."
"Well, di tayo nakakasiguro dyan. Pano kung nagbago na? Pano kung--" Sabi ni Ashtine.
"I can't and I won't. Yumi is only for Bianca. End of discussion." Sabi ko sabay walkout.
"T-teka. Heart, wait--" Sabi ni Ashtine sabay habol sakin haaays.

Bianca's POV
"Excuse me Atty. Sacay, but may I ask why Sir Dee got expelled?." Tanong ni Arki.
"It is simply because this is a law school and we are not allowed to talk about religious beliefs, especially using it as a basis in sample debates."
"Why not?."
"Are you a part of any religious organization Mr. Delos Reyes?." Seryosong sabi ni Atty Sacay.
"Yes Ma'am."
"You see, the problem is that we don't use magic here, we use logic."
"They say the human brain is just a result of random evolutionary processes. So how could we trust it?. You can't just invalidate something just because it doesn't sound as complicated as your textbooks."
"Are you testing me?."
"Maybe. Besides of logic, aren't we supposed to use philosophy?."
Napayuko nalang ang iba sa takot dahil parang sasabog na si Atty./Ms. Sacay. Sayang, effective pa namang professor si Sir Dee.
"How unethical of you to disrespect a woman in front of a crowd." Sabi ni Atty. Sacay as if she's asking for people's sympathy.
"So what do you think is ethical Ms. Sacay?. Sleeping with your student?." Sabi ni Arki sabay bahagyang lumingon sa seatmate nitong si Lucho na medyo hiyang hiya na. For the first time nakita kong natakot si Ms. Sacay. Gosh, I can't believe that she seriously did that.
Pero Arki, sinasabi ko sayo. You're in big big trouble.
"See me after class Mr. Delos Reyes. That's all for today, class dismiss." Seryosong sabi ni Ms. Sacay.
Lunch break. Kasama ko si Elmo.
"..seryoso?. Sinabi nya yun? Haha. Shady ah." Sabi ni Elmo na parang tuwang tuwa pa.
"Yeah. Magpinsan nga kayo." Irap ko.
"Well, dati palang naman duda nako sa dalawang yun eh. Pero damn, ibang klase din talaga tong si Lucho mamen, pati Professor."
"Mabalik lang tayo sa part time job mo, di ka ba hinahanap ngayon dun?."
"Ah hindi. Actually, magpapasa nako ngayong hapon ng resignation letter."
"Huh?. Bakit naman?."
"Nag-offer kasi ng ibang trabaho si Miss Kate."
"Ano namang trabaho?."
"Race Engineer."
A race engineer is a team member who analyses data to achieve the best performance from the vehicle and driver. The race engineer communicates with the team and driver, both between and during races.
Off the race track, the race engineer analyses historical data to determine the initial set-up for the next race event or test. The race engineer's duties also include hands-on management of the vehicle mechanics, organization of the testing schedule, and assurance of compliance with regulations. The race engineer seeks to make these activities occur as seamlessly as possible for the driver.
"Pero diba kailangan mo pa ng academic degree in engineering para dun?." Sabi ko.
"No need. Di ba nga dati madalas nakong sumali sa mga drag races?. Saka, negosyo yun ng pamilya namin kaya kinalakhan ko na yung ganung field."
"Sabagay."
"Yun nga lang, kalaban yun ng negosyo namin. I mean ng parents ko. Kaya I'm sure, mas lalo nila akong pag-iinitan this time unless wala na talaga silang pakialam sakin."
"Hindi naman siguro."
"Nakita mo naman diba?. Saka yung ginawa pa nila sa trabaho ng Dad mo."
"About that, napromote na sya sa bago nyang pinagtatrabahuhan ngayon. Medyo napag-uusapan nga na posible syang madestino sa ibang bansa."
"A-aalis ka?." Malungkot nitong sabi.
"Hindi. Si Daddy lang. Syempre uuwi naman yun siguro once every 6 months, KUNG papayag si Mommy na umalis sya."
"Since nabanggit mo na rin, yung mommy din pala ni Yumi napromote. Narinig ko lang nung kausap ni Miss Kate si Heart sa phone. Ang pagkakaalala ko next month na sila aalis papuntang Japan.."

Yumi's POV
6:45pm. Sa sala.
"..aalis ka pero di mo man lang sinabi sakin?. Tapos si Heart--" Sabi ni Bianca.
"Babalik na naman ba tayo dito?. Akala ko ba--"
Nagulat nalang ako nang bigla nya kong niyakap ng sobrang higpit sabay sabing,
"Pwede bang wag ka nalang umalis?." Wait, is she crying?.
