aiden

"Hello there my sleep-deprived looking best friend and his handsome brother" A grinning Nora chuckled as she caught sight of Aiden being dragged down the hallway by Asher five minutes before first period.

Asher cleared his throat as he looked the opposite direction to hide his reddening cheeks.

But Asher wasn't as discreet as he thought he was. Aiden noticed, narrowing his eyes at the two obvious idiots.

He blinked at the scene. His best friend and his brother? Seriously?

Well, he thought to himself, whatever. It can't be helped.

"where's Luke?" he muttered, not wanting to witness the two idiots ogling each other for a moment longer.

Luke was the last person in their little group of four. He was a hardcore gamer and annoyingly sarcastic when he felt like it. Like Nora, Aiden met Luke in their freshmen year of high school.

"He had a doctor's appointment today, so he won't be coming. He texted in the group; you didn't get it?"

"Haven't checked my phone yet" Aiden muttered, rubbing his eye.

Nora rolled her eyes, grinning "Typical Aiden. OH, have you heard? There are rumors going around 'bout a new student starting today" the blue haired girl ruffled her hair as she wiggled her way in-between Aiden and Asher, taking hold of both their hands.

"Oh really? That's great" he mumbled, not really listening as he fished his phone from out of his pocket and his eyes widened at the time.

Shit.

"Guys we're ten minutes late for class" He lazily spoke, breaking Asher and Nora out of some weird ass staring contest.

"Shit" Nora detangled her hands from the boys' and adjusted her her bag strap.

"Welp boys I guess this is where we part. Gotta go bye~" and with that the blue haired, little ball of sunshine was gone.

"That's my cue" Asher ruffled his brother hair quickly, making him scowl in annoyance as he swatted his hand away "See you at lunch sunshine"

"I hope not" Aiden muttered, and soon the blondie was the only one left in the quiet hallways.

Sighing, he slowly walked down the hallway a to his class which was situated on the far end of the school.

If that wasn't bad enough, the class he was heading to was Math.

A shitty subject with an equally as shitty teacher.

Aiden knew that if he didn't have a valid excuse for why he was late, he would be receiving a detention from the shithead. The man was a dick to everyone.

Aiden was so focused on getting to class that he hadn't noticed where he was going and soon he felt himself walking into a wall.

Wait, does walls have muscle? Because holy shit this wall did. And it was an impressive amount of muscle too.

Aiden's hands roamed the 'wall' and soon found himself screeching in embarrassment upon realizing that the wall he was touching was not a wall and was actually an actually fucking person.

Holy shit. I just indirectly violated someone.

"Enjoying yourself there?" A god-awful familiar voice filled his ears.

Aiden's eyes shot open and he quickly took atleast ten steps back, his cheeks burning in embarrassment.

The first thing that caught his attention was the small smirk playing at the stranger's lips.

And the second?

Those familiar ocean blue eyes that seemed to have him freeze on the spot.

"I had a feeling I would run into you again" the guy spoke, his Spanish accent becoming prominent the more he spoke, eyes scanning Aiden's figure from head to toe.

"Quite literally" Aiden muttered to himself, shaking off the embarrassment he felt, as he felt the male's eyes on him "sorry about that, by the way"

"Who would have thought that we would be attending the same school" his eyes held amusement, as he brushed off Aidens apology.

Aiden quirked a brow. Okay then.

Definitely not me Aiden thought, frowning as a soft, barely audible chuckle filled his ears.

"What's your name, love?"

Aiden almost choked on his spit at the pet name.

"What the hell dude, don't call me that like ever again. Is this how you make friends? " he asked, half cringing.

The guy shrugged, amusement swirling in his annoyingly blue eyes "the ladies love it"

"Yeah? Well the last time I checked, I wasn't a lady" Aiden snapped, crossing his arms over his chest in defiance.

"Oh I know" Aiden decided to ignore his tone and his words altogether "You still hadn't answer my question"

Rolling his eyes, he mumbled "it's Aiden" and just out of pure politeness and a teeny tiny bit of curiosity, he hesitantly asked "yours?"

The male's gaze drifted to something behind him for a few short moments before licking his lips, a smirk making its way to his face.

Aiden noticed, clearing his throat.

What the fuck was with this dude and the sex appeal oozing off him?

"Matías. A pleasure to meet you Aiden"

A pleasure? Why did Aiden have a hard time believing that?
