aiden

Aiden usually didn't pay attention in class unless Bald Spot threatened to throw him a detention slip but today, Aiden, no matter how hard he tried, just couldn't focus.

Why?

Because there was a weird, Spanish speaking, sex appeal oozing male sitting behind him.

Now, it hadn't anything to do with the fact that he was sitting directly infront of the male that kept him from focusing, no, it had more to do with the fact that said male would just not stop staring.

Aiden was sure the guy had a serious problem with averting his gaze. Or maybe he was just zoning out. Regardless, the intensity of his gaze had Aiden squirming in his seat.

Fiddling with the sleeve of his hoodie, he begged the minutes to go by faster so that he could escape those annoyingly blue eyes burning into the back of his head.

Aiden shook his head, eyes roaming the classroom.

He wasn't dense. He noticed the looks everyone was sending Matías' way and if he was being completely honest, he didn't blame them. He wasn't blind, Aiden could admit that despite having a serious staring problem, the guy looked like he was personally crafted by the hands of the Greek Gods themselves.

Like Aiden, Matias was around 6'3 with a lean yet muscular physique. Throw in a pair of deep ocean blue eyes, wavy dark hair that fell just right, a Greek nose that anyone would be proud of and a smile most would consider 'to die for' and you have charming, Matias who oozed sex appeal and had jaws dropping left, right and center. Unlike Aiden with his shaggy brown hair that he was too lazy to style, pale green eyes with bags under them from all those all nighters he pulled and his signature half assed smile.

Aiden snorted. What a real charmer he was.

The only thing he was actually proud of was the the fact that he hit the gym thrice a week, due to this random urge he would get at two in the morning to work out.

Aiden couldn't imagine having to deal with eyes following his every move and thanked the heavens people left him alone despite having a popular athlete as a brother (something about Aiden always looking like he was done with the world? Oh well)  How did Matias even deal with it?

He was probably use to the attention and chose to ignore it. Or maybe he hardly noticed it at all. But that would be highly unlikely, Aiden thought to himself, anyone should have been able to feel when someone was staring at them.

He groaned. Why was he even thinking about the guy to begin with?.

Aiden plopped his head in his arms. Maybe if he took a little nap then he'd stop thinking about him. Maybe he was just suffering from fatigue.

Yep, that must have been it.

Soon Aiden found his eyes fluttering shut, the sound of Mr Bald Spot's monotone voice getting softer and softer.

"Aiden" a husky voice whispered making Aiden's brow furrow together.

A shiver ran down his spine. That voice sounded so familiar.

"Aiden, you need to wake up" the voice spoke again before Aiden felt hands threading through his hair which in all honesty only made him want fall back to sleep even more.

"Aiden" the voice whispered in his ear, the sound so...alluring. No-one had ever said his name like that and soon the male found himself groggily opened his eyes.

His eyes met blue eyes and Aiden swore he never shot back so fast in his life.

Matias furrowed his brows, amusement swirling in his annoyingly blue eyes "you okay?"

Aiden couldn't answer. It was like that day in the grocery store where his brain went blank and he couldn't move. All he could do was stare.

His eyes roamed over Matias' face subconsciously paying attention to the little details like how his blue eyes changed color when the sun hit them and how he had little freckles scattered across his cheeks.

And how his lips were full and pink and wet and-

Okay. Woah. Hold on there. What the fuck was I doing looking at his lips?

The blonde turn away from Matías, slapping his cheeks to get rid of his thoughts.

It was okay. It was normal to think another guy was attractive. Aiden wasn't an idiot, he could admit when a guy was good looking. He had eyes, after all.

But never like that, he thought to himself. I never paid that much attention to another guy before.

"Where are the others?" he asked as a way to distract himself from his weird thoughts and their close proximity, clearing his thought when he felt Matías staring at the side of his face.

"Class ended fifteen minutes ago" his voice was deep, like Aiden's, or slightly deeper.

"You mean to tell me you spent a whole fifteen minutes of your lunch period waiting for me to wake up? Geez dude" Aiden blinked up at him, a weird feeling settling in the pit of his stomach.

"Eh. It's okay. Wasn't really planning on going to the cafeteria anyway"

Aiden cleared his throat, confusion settling in. Why would the guy do that? For him, someone he just met. Was he missing something?

Shaking his head, he stood up and grabbed his backpack, heading for the door. "We need to go. I'm starving and the food in the cafeteria might almost be finished"

Matías let out a small smile and Aiden couldn't figure out why he couldn't stop staring at it.

"Well, shoo then. Go fill your little stomach" Matías cooed, like he was speaking to some kindergartner.

Aiden narrowed his eyes at his tone "don't patronize me"

Matías chuckled and Aiden felt like a puddle of goo "Of course not love"

Aiden groaned "what did I say about calling me that?"

Matías raised his hands in surrender "my bad. It just slips out"

Aiden snorted. Yeah sure.
