"What's your favourite colour?" He randomly asked as he chewed a fry.

Aiden blinked, his burger half way to his mouth. Dropping it onto his plate, he snorted "seriously? Out of everything you could've asked me, you went for that? Is this how
girls feel? "

"It was the first thing that came to mind" Matìas pouted, crossing his arms over his chest defensively.

"Yeah okay Mr smooth operator. I don't have one" Aiden chuckled "what about you?"

"Well" Matías pondered over the question "I think...a deep red? Blood red?"

Aiden snorted "blood red? You sound like a vampire"

Matías smiled in amusement before his eyes darkened and a smirk tugged at his lips. Tilting his head, he stared Aiden in the eye. Voice husky, he asked "vampire? Well then...how do you feel about me sucking your blood?"

Aiden almost choked on his burger, but managed to refrain from embarrassing himself, while Matias laughed from opposite him.

Glaring at the dark haired idiot, he took a sip of his soda "shut up and finish your food"

"That doesn't answer my question though"

"That was the whole point dumbass. Anyway,  I'm changing the subject. what's your favourite series?" Aiden asked, running a hand through his hair.

"well" Matìas smiled hesitantly, making Aiden raise a brow. This gotta be good "I don't usually tell a lot of people this but, it's troll hunters"

Aiden's eyes lit up "no fucking way! I love that animation"

"You do? well, that adds to the list of things we have in common"

Aiden tilted his head at that. A whole list. Did that mean that Matìas was keeping count?

Although...that was normal right? Him feeling weirdly happy about that fact was normal... right?

His phone vibrated in his pocket, saving him from his thoughts, and he fished it out, blinking at the spam he received from Ash.

Idiot Ash: Aiden, where are you? We're waiting in the parking lot (sent 40 minutes ago)

Idiot Ash: I'm so kicking your ass when i get home if you don't answer your bloody phone (sent 30 minutes ago)

Idiot Ash: I'm home and you're still not. Where the fuck are you ( sent 15 minutes ago)

"Is everything okay?" Matías asked as he watched Aiden, eyes filled with amusement

"Yeah everything's fine. It's just my brother" He responded with a sheepish smile before reading the rest of the messages

Idiot Ash: No seriously, were you kidnapped or something? Wtf is going on? (Sent 30 seconds ago)

Aiden: Ye i was kidnapped. And now they killed me. I'm dead. Rip 2 me (sent just now)

Idiot Ash: That's it. I'm stealing from your poptarts.

Asher's reply was immediate, which Aiden figured was probably because he was bored.

Thats just too bad.

Aiden: Touch my shit and I'll fucking kill you.

Aiden quickly replied before setting his phone on the table, an easy smile painting his lips.

"Trouble in paradise?" Matias asked as he finished up the last of his meal.

"Nah not really" blinking down at his finished plate, he clicked his tongue "I'm not going to lie, I'm craving a chocolate milkshake though"

"Should we order?"

"Hell yeah"

Aiden watched as Matías sipped on his drink with the weird name.

A pumpkin spice latte? Aiden had no idea you even got pumpkin spice "Is it that good?"

Matías looked up, a smirk playing at his lips "Why? Wanna try?"

Aiden blinked before slowly nodding his head.

Matías chuckled lightly and carefully pushed his drink towards him. Aiden hesitantly grabbed the straw and took a sip.

Flavour exploded on his tongue and his eyes widened, casting Matias a surprised glance.

Shamelessly, he took another sip and almost groaned at the taste.

"Enjoying yourself there?" Matias teased, blue eyes sparkling in the light.

Woah. That was such a girly thing to think.

"Oop. Sorry" he chuckled sheepishly,  pushing the latte back to it's owner "i was sceptical at first but that tastes really fucking good, by the way. You seriously have good taste"

"Why thank you. I try" Matìas smirked and playfully winked and Aiden playfully rolled his eyes.

After finishing their drinks, they decided that it was time to leave.

Pulling out his card, Aiden glared as he watched Matias do the same, who returned the glare.

"No" Aiden warned "I'm paying"

Matias smirked, leaning his back against the booth, crossing his arms over his chest "Nuh uh"

Aiden let out a surprised laugh "Nuh uh? What do you mean nuh uh? . I'm paying and that's final"

"Oh sure" the blue eyed male drawled and Aiden let out an annoyed sigh.

"I'm going to kill you"

"Mhm"

"I'm serious. I'm going to absolutely throttle you"

"Yep"

Matias ended up paying for the food.

Frowning, Aiden made his way to the passenger side of the truck.

I'm still paying you back"

"Go ahead. Try it" Matias was mocking him, and it made him want to grab the male by the neck and suffocate him.

Aiden groaned, sinking into the seat as Matias started up the engine "asshole"

"That's literally my middle name"
