Remember when I fell asleep with a smile thinking I would wake up early and start a brand new day freshly? Yeah no. I woke up late, got dressed in an utmost amount of hurry. My stockings were a mess, one hand buttoning up my dress while the other tugged up the net fabric. The pressure being so extreme that there was now a small hole, about one centimeter at the back of my knee but thankfully the long dress concealed it quite well.

My morning made me feel as if I had ran a marathon.

Once my feet slid inside the pumps, I took in a deep breath and exhaled nervousness. My trembling hands unlocked the door, pulling it open as I ambled outside. The mansion was quite and eerie for most of the time except the light chatterings of people and once I was out of the hallway, everyone inside the mansion had their gazes fixed on me. The heat that I despised the most crawled up to my face and ears causing me to regret putting my hair in a pony tail since there was no hair to hide my face behind.

"It's the trouble boss brought last night," spoke a familiar voice. Alexie.

My eyes turned into slits as I glared at him, the blonde returning the favor.

We were having a full on staring contest until I winked at him and he lost, an expression of shock taking over his face.

Pretending as if nothing had really happened, I skipped over to the kitchen where Eve was sitting on a chair as the maids rushed here and there. The maid from last night was there too and she grimaced at the sight of me as if I was some ugly looking monster. She looked like disney stars after they fall apart but had the audacity to give me that look.

"Oh, hello Eira. did you rest well?" I looked at Eve and nodded, smiling at her. I already had taken a liking towards her.

"Thank you for everything last night. I should thank Viktor too," I spoke and the maids began whispering to each other when I mentioned his name as if he was some beast with an ugly curse upon him.

Eve was now standing from the chair and strolling towards me. Only a few steps since I wasn't standing that far.

"Eira, people who work here call him sir or Mr Almato." My mouth fell open as I nodded my head. Had to follow his rules obviously since I was living under his roof, thats the least I could do.

I was going to stay out of trouble. That was a promise to myself.

Eve then snapped her fingers and then all the maids lined up right next to her. Gazes glued to the floor as they didn't dare looking up at her or even me. Just stealing glances underneath their glances. "Meet the maids of the house. This is Anfisa," she pointed towards a dark haired girl and then her finger moved to the girl besides her. "Madiha," Dark hair again, freckles doting her cheeks and a set of thin lips on her face. "Raisa and lastly Arwen."

I looked at the last two. One blonde with tan skin and bright sparkling green eyes while the other had curly hair down her back, beautiful glistening dark skin and a slightly curvy figure. She was indeed the most beautiful out of them and honestly, the only one that hadn't looked at me with disgust. She was mostly minding her own business.
