Roaming from one store to another, everything had come crashing down as this was the fifth store that basically kicked us out for desiring a custom made dress in such a short amount of time. Eve was stressed, Arwen was trying her best to comfort me and me - I had almost turned into a bridezilla before my wedding day. Viktor had called me to let me know that I could return and that he could arrange a custom made for me but I was stubborn.

I wanted my own dress.

Everyone tried their best to comfort the soon to be bride but it was futile, everything was futile because I couldn't even possibly find an already made dress with which I felt that immediate connection with. That exploding rush of adrenaline which will send me into a frenzy upon seeing that dress.

Being in the car, we drove from one street to another filled with beautiful dresses but not the one.

"Eira, we'll find a dress soon. Don't give up." It was Eve who turned to me with a smile on her lips.

Her behavior with me definitely changed over the course of those past three weeks I had spent in the Yaroslav mansion. I found understanding reasons coming into my mind - her being Viktor's aunt the number one reason. Maybe she was just being supportive and didn't really see me as a threat anymore because it was quite immature to keep blaming me for everything that was happening. Its not like as soon as I stepped into Viktor's life, his life fell into danger.

I released a heavy hearted sigh and leaned my head against the pellucid window.

Then it happened. Passing by the store, my desperate gaze grasped a beautiful dress being taken off the brown mannequin. "Stop the fucking car, right now!"

Alexie quickly pulled the brakes and my body jolted forward against his seat but thankfully the thick belt around my body prevented my figure from crashing against Alexie's seat. Eve looked at me, completely aghast and I gave her an apology through my gaze with the little time left. I was quick to leap out of the car that had stalled and rushed towards the shop, ignoring the calls for me.

"Eira, this is dangerous!"

I knew very well what he was implying since Alexie was given strict orders to protect the ladies, specially me - the future donna and Mrs Almato as I was the main target of his enemies. The american mafia, Cesar and my father but right now, I couldn't careless as my main priority was that dress that took my breath away in mere seconds.

I hadn't realized that my legs took me across the road and then it hit me. Frozen standing right in the middle of the road, the adrenaline rush suddenly disappeared from my body and the sound of many cars roaring out their horns caught me off guard.
