The pressure of something underneath her as well on top of her coupled with the holo sound of the wind blowing outside her window was her first greeting to this world. Second came the bright light that forced her to stir awake, and the somewhat chilly air. And with her mind gaining stable consciousness her eyes slowly peeled themselves open. Silver orbs blinking to rid the at first blurry imagine of where she found herself. Her body faintly stiff but able to move as she instinctively sat herself up and reached for her eyes. Rubbing the sleepy out. The tan and plain covers rolled down from keeping her, and her long straight dark magenta hair fell to her mid back. A tiny bit messy from moving, but otherwise straight and rather clean, the ends lining up perfectly as did that of her bangs covering her forehead.
After rubbing her eyes and giving a good yawn she could see clearly. And the first thing she noticed were her hands. Obviously. Looking them over slowly, she stared, moving her fingers curiously. She tilted her head as she saw her fingers curl into a fist, and then return. Looking at the back, front, turning her hands over as if inspecting a jewel. Which lead her to notice the bed she was on. A twin size mattress pushed against the wall, with white sheets tan covers and a couple pillows. It felt firm. She spotted her arms next, slim fitting her smaller frame. She touched them with her hands, rubbing them and winding up in a position like she were hugging herself.
She then moved her head, looking around her room with faint confusion painting her face. Taking a good glance at her surroundings. The room was small, but big enough to hold her bed, a dark wood dresser at the opposite wall with gold colored metal handles, an odd rack with bars and chest like space underneath sitting on the floor that was as of now empty, a coat rack with a single faded yet pure white hooded coat hung up by the door to her right and a tan armchair on the other side of the coat hanger. Modest, nothing fancy. However these walls looked to be made from stone. Adorning a mosiac pattern resembling the triangles and diamonds of stained glass, in more deluted toned down shades of red blue and yellow, with some black in there as well that shared the stone shading. Dull. The floor was purely black, and looked more like tiles. And there was a window not far from the foot of her bed, letting in the golden morning light through the thin white curtains looking to be made from lace.
Seeing all of this confused her. What was this place? Her mind was blank, as plain as her clothes. She didn't have much thought on any of this, in fact. She just wondered what was happening, where she was. Perhaps fueled by her curiosity, the girl removed her covers and swung her legs to the side of the bed. Looking down now she noticed her clothing. She seemed to be dressed in a white T-shirt and matching pants, comfortable clothing possibly pajamas. And her bare feet felt the cold chill of the tile floor when she got off the bed. Causing her to flinch. That was unexpected.
When she stood her legs felt weak, as if they were drained of energy. And the feeling soon moved up to her arms and torso, making her quickly sit back down with a deep breath. One hand on the matress and the other on her head. She felt shaky and lightheaded. Though actions done only out of instinct instead of logic, because her mind was completely blank. Once she felt less lightheaded she stood up and, this time managed to walk over to the door of the room. For a moment she starred at the brown door, taking in the color, the plain wood with no carving, the probably brass doorknob. She didn't know what this was. Putting her hand on it resulted in it moving and the crack between it and the frame getting bigger. The door wasn't locked, in fact it wasn't even closed. All she had to do was push.
So naturally she pushed further and was met with a much larger area. A board floor, and banister way with white paneling on the wall where other doors like hers were lined, a similar stone pattern like that of the walls she had awoken to, this time in a lighter tone of white and gray, still spliced like stained glass but with gray triangles in the center forming what looked to be a flower, or perhaps the sun, in the middle of each patterned part. The wood floor was still brown, as was the railing of the banister that looked over a front entrance type area.
