Although in this particular book of the series many of these are hinted at instead of shown, if any of these things are upsetting to you or hurt your mental health, please don't read this series. Finally, and I put this last part because I know of people who get really upset about this in media: this story has queer characters in it. There are characters who are not straight or cisgender in this series, because I am a queer person myself, queer people exist and there should be more of us shown in media. If you don't like that, you are free to leave. This is not a story where the sexuality and or gender identity of said characters is a driving force of the narrative, but, they are in the series. I felt it necessary to put this in the disclaimer because of how people react to characters like this.
