At the sound of birds singing their first songs of the daybreak, the welcomed pressure of her mattress became known. And with a lessened stiff feeling in her body, "Mm..mmhm.." Royanna let out a small hum stiring herself awake. Eyes twitching as her consciousness formed, snug under the covers like a bunny in its burrow. She peeled her eyes open to meet the sight of her bedroom door and white coat on the hanger next to it, sunshine barely lighting the room. She was tempted to close her eyes and go back to sleep, but a nice lady would probably be in here to get her soon. So she sat up with a yawn, instinctively stretching her arms up and rubbing hard crusty from the corners of her eyes before removing her covers. Once again shortly shocked by the cold stone floor on her feet when she stood. It was a little chilly that morning, getting out of bed gave her goosebumps. Her body shivering with a short breath.
Seeing as how a lady would be in soon to do it anyway she decided to get herself dressed. She'd seen and experienced how it was done so many times by now. First step was to go to the dresser and open the drawer at the top, take something out and then do the same with the bottom drawer. Pulling out a pair of white pants and a matching t-shirt from the bottom drawer, just like the lady had been showing her. She tossed them on her bed, not really thinking as she was and closed the drawer.
And then something caught her attention when she stood back up, seeing something interesting from the corner of her eye she turned towards the window at the food of her bed. She walked over, and stood in front of it. Getting a look at the outside world through her window. The sky was kinda dark, half a dark blue and half a bright vibrent orange that caught her attention as it lined the fluffy and full clouds. Painting a beautiful backdrop to the scenery of the front of the Château, view seen from a few stories up it seemed. As what she could see at this hour was from an above angle. Stone ground that looked like a light gray pavement, going from the front steps and making a circle around a round pad like flat raised part of the ground. Green grass around the stone on the floor as if styled that way. Small spring flowers, lush green trees, and a bench on the left. It almost looked like a park, and was certainly well taken care of. Seeing the whole picture filled her with a sense of calm, serenity. All she wanted to do was look. Watch as the orange of the horizon grew, pushing away the dark of twilight and shown down a warm glow upon the front of the Château. Smiling upon the plants, welcoming the small birds that sat singing in the trees and squirrels hopping about at the trunks of them. Lighting her room more than before, as the bright ball of light seemed to stretch its head up over the endless sea of greenery and cleared the way for a lighter blue. It was a slow process, one she hadn't even thought about as she stood there. Though she was looking at the start of the day through a sheet of glass, it still stirred something up. A slow turning feeling in her chest, and a look to her eyes that sat coated in awe and wonder.
About what, she didn't even ask. But whatever it was it caused her to sigh, closing her eyes for a moment after seeing such a beautiful slugging event. She placed her hand in a fist over her chest, looking down at it with a more curious feeling. Before turning to her clothes waiting on her bed. She'd better get dressed.
Just like the lady had done for her she took off her nightgown, and slipped on her pants. Stopping for a second as she noticed something small attached to the inside. It looked like a piece of paper. She didn't pay it much mind and pulled up her pants, the legs falling to her ankles with a slightly baggy fit, she then put on her shirt. Another baggy fit, but not that she cared. After all it was all she knew. The pants felt a little different this time, but it was only given a second worth of her time before she moved on. Not brushing her hair before heading for her door, she took her coat and put it on. Leaving it open and putting the hood up. The bottom of the coat practically dragging the floor behind her as she walked through the halls, stairways, and large open room areas. Walking the same path the people took her on every morning, until she reached a room with a warmer temperature. The smell of something salty hitting her nose, and the familiar sizzling sound complimenting it. She could see an adult standing at the stove, counter beside them with plates lined up, mostly empty aside from one with three plain pancakes on it. A glass jug full of the white liquid she was given along with her food. She recognized the walnut brown walls, wooden cabinets and gray marble countertops with specs of black in the stone. The couple potted plants on the walls that were clearly fake as the leafs had a slight shine, and the wide dinner table off to far right of the room near the wall. Covered in a floral cloth with many chairs sat around it, all of which had a plate in front of it. Spots just waiting for the Young Ones to take. The room was spacious, and according to some she'd heard, one of many kitchens here. It was the place she came every morning to eat.
