For a good few minutes everything was silent that night. The darkness that covered her sight thanks to her eyes being closed lulling Anna into a tired peace. Her body feeling heavy and immovable, not wanting to budge what so ever. Even when she knew what awaited her if she opened her eyes, more squares and walking no doubt. A dull stillness, floating in a vast space of nothing. Held in place like a doll in a box, peaceful. A soft smile slowly working itself across her face in the silence and serenity. Absolute peace, for once not feeling bothered by anything. No troubles from her waking life, no questions, it was just quiet. All she had to do was breathe. Drifting idly upon a nonexistent cloud of blissful patience and a clear thought track for what felt like forever. Yet at the same time, not long enough. Because nearly as soon as her mouth curled in her state of calm happiness, when her thoughts were waking up, so to did her dream world.

Feeling as the air around her morphed and her skin tingled, her body steadily dropping down, first sinking head first as though her weight were too much for the space to hold. But soon enough while her world faded into a more healthy open atmosphere, her dream world building itself around her, that sinking gentleness sped up into the feeling of falling. Presenting her senses with the sensation of air whooshing by her, slapping her hair in a strong propulsion made breeze telling her to keep her eyes closed, no matter how much her fear responses were starting to wake up. Her stomach turning with anxiety, her heart racing as if this were actually happening. And very soon her sentience realized her situation.

A terrifying rush shot through her entire body, one that twisted her gut and made her beg to the goddesses this was in fact a dream. Clutching her fists and refusing to look, she shot through the air like a rocket, the speed only seeming to increase the harder she told herself to shut up. The more scared she was the harder she fought her curiosity to keep her eyes closed. This couldn't be real, it just couldn't. The last thing that happened was she went to bed. There was no way she was actually falling through the sky right now. She felt something graze her arm as she fell, making her shudder in disgust at the much too sensual softness that felt like fingers, a hot sharpness flickering on in her chest, but remain stubborn. This wasn't real. This wasn't real, so she had to keep her eyes closed. If she looked she'd get scared and everything would turn. That's how dreams worked. She just had to wait. Everything would be fine if she just-

With a loud splash and rush through her body, Anna hit water. Feeling the inky black surround her within moments, and her eyes popping open. Instinctively trying to move her body around so she could be upright, kicking her legs within the liquid and moving her arms around. Soon to feel the awe striking coolness that grazed over her flesh at every stroke. This time shivering in sudden relief, as well as enjoyment. Wanting to let loose a series of small huff laughs as she turned herself around to look and bask in the new experience. And as she did, her sides and face were tickled by the strands of light pink. Her hair floated around her weightlessly, even her bangs danced inside the cooling liquid welcoming her in like an old friend. Bubbles and ripples from her movement making her smile peacefully again, kicking her legs just enough to stay where she was. Chest glowing from within a brilliant purple giving her light enough to see her own waving hands and fingers, as well as the way the water stretched out into seemingly infinite darkness with merely a twinge of blue hiding amongst the black. And looking up, she could see the top of the water. The sunlight pouring down into the water like an outstretched hand.

It was... familiar, somehow. The coolness washing all around her, enrapturing her in a space of safety, a space of warmth and love taking all her cares away once more. It was incredible. And so familiar, calming to the point she was tempted to close her eyes again and drift away as it held her. A lullaby of the past, a softness humming to her in such a strong protective tone without sounding harsh. A tone full of love, admiration and nurturing. She couldn't think of the word for it. Turning this moment bittersweet as her heart throbbed with sorrow, beating with a wish that felt too common, making her glow shine brighter with a viotet shade strong enough to rival old fashion. It blazed at her emotions, growing stronger in response with an ache felt deep. Making her put her hand on her chest, just barely covering the light between her breasts.
