Minho shot Edward a challenging glare who just laughed and smirked, then said "Have fun on your date Jisung"
It completely caught me off guard and I started blushing, I hid my face in my hands. All three of them laughed and I heard Nikki cooing saying something like 'Aw Ur sO CUtE'. Minho then took me to his car and my mouth dropped, I don't know much about cars, but this sure as hell looked expensive as shit. I said nothing and sat beside him, opening the window.
"We can just turn on the air conditioning if you feel hot"
"I- I like the breeze"
I half expected him to lash out at me but instead, he smiled and pressed some buttons before the roof opened and it rolled back opening the entire roof. My mouth dropped and my eyes widened as I stared at it in awe. He then started driving and taking us to god knows where, but I was deeply entranced in the car I was sitting in, I had seen something like this in only movies.
"How? what? huh?" He let out a chuckle and answered
"Chan, Changbin, and Hyunjin bought it as a birthday gift for me last year. The model is the 2021 Audi TT Roadster and I don't know how to reply to huh"
"That's so cool, you're so cool, I mean your friends are cool too. I mean you guys aren't popular for nothing but I never thought I'd be sitting in a car like this with the School's popular boy The Lee Minho- oh i- Uhm sorry I started rambling" Instead of looking annoyed, he looked rather amused.
"Do I make you feel nervous?"
"No, it's just, you're my first friend except for Minnie, Innie, and Lixie, who I now consider family... So I guess you could say I'm new to this" I replied honestly. Well, it was half the truth anyway, the other truth was because I may, just may have developed a tiny crush on the older. But I won't let what happened last time repeat itself. I have to end all these feelings for Minho right this instant before they start growing and another catastrophe takes place.
"Well, everything takes time and I'm ready to wait as long as you want me to" I inclined my head, and something bloomed inside me, like an exquisite flower blooming on a beautiful spring day, with the breeze as clean and fresh as ever and the sunlight an average amount, not too burning hot and not too less to make me cold, but just perfect. It felt heart-warming, I could see myself standing there, with a specific 'someone beside me. I mentally slapped myself
Get a hold of yourself Han Jisung! Stop it before you hurt yourself again!
"The drive is a little long, you can play songs if you want"
"Really? Can I?!"
"Sure"

If I had known letting Jisung play the songs would make him this happy then I would have done it a long time ago. A familiar tune started playing, I let out a heartfelt laugh as I asked
"You like Twice too?"
"Yeah! This is my favorite song!!" He sang along to the lyrics and attempted the hand signs which were part of the choreography. I tapped my finger in the steering wheel but kept my eyes on the road.
"Hyung why is it taking so long to reach I thought we were going to grab something quick"
"Oh uh-" Shit- I didn't even ask him "I know it's quite late to ask, but are you doing anything today?"
