I stuffed my favorite blue-colored towel in my duffel bag and finally zipped it close. I looked around to see if I was missing anything, I had my phone, its charger, my wallet, credit card, cash and extra clothes, and everything else. Minho said that he'd bring the sunscreen so I didn't have to worry about not having it. He also was bringing a few other items to ease my fried-up brain.

I slung the bag over my shoulder and wore my sunglasses. I closed the windows and locked the house, Seungmin and the others weren't here yet so I dropped my bag on the porch and opened my phone to scroll through social media. I looked up to see a van stopping in front, and the mailman getting out, he waved at me and handed my envelope to me directly.

I waved him goodbye and I opened the envelope, counting exactly $100K in cash. I heard the roar of an engine coming nearer and just as expected, it was my gang.

Seungmin eyed the envelope with a bored stare and motioned me to sit in the back seat, seeing as Jeongin slept in the front seat. I opened the door and shoved Felix to the side and sat in, taking my seat.

"Is this how you welcome your best friend?" fake-cried Felix.

"Nope, it's just special treatment for you"

Felix latched on to me as if I had just painted him with compliments. He squeezed me and thanked me. He really was a whole different species but I loved him anyway.

"You do know you need to tell Minho about him one day"

"Who? Jisung's Sugar daddy?"

I rolled my eyes ignoring Felix, and answering Seungmin instead "Yeah, I will"

We drove off towards the beach, with Felix and I snapping pictures, making funny faces, and also ones where we genuinely look good. Innie slept soundlessly in the front seat and Seungmin drove and tapped his fingers on the steering wheel according to the beat of the song.

Apparently, Changbin had special connections making him able to book one of those beach huts, where we could sleep the night. No matter how much money one could offer, those people never wanted to let others rent their huts but somehow Changbin managed. I guess this is the benefit of positive human interaction.

"Why is Innie sleeping? He sound tired even while texting" I questioned after a long comfortable silence as Felix slept with his head laid on my shoulder.

"I really don't know either" replied Seungmin, "Being his caretaker, it worries me but at the same time, it's not like he's mentally exhausted or anything, I think he's just physically tired from school and everything"

I processed the information and looked at Felix who was still latched onto me like a leech, "And what about Lixie?"

"He was up all night playing Fortnite with this online friend of his"

I tsked "That's nothing out of the blue" I looked out the window and admired the beautiful scenery "What about you? Did you sleep well?"

"Yeah I did"

After his short reply, we just jammed to the sweet tunes being played on the radio. I looked outside and saw cars flash by and the trees and plants go by in a green blur. Seungmin switched and moved towards the left side of the road, only for another car to speed up in the right lane and match our speed.

I felt my cheeks burn up, and a comforting warmth spread from my heart to the rest of my body. I laughed, throwing my head back a little. Beside me was Minho's car, his roof was folded back and Changbin sat next to him with his legs on the dashboard. I quickly snapped a few pictures of Minho's side profile, a sequence being created where he first was looking at the road, then at me, then him winking, and then looking back at the road.
