Y/n POV
I woke up today with my Jichu laying next to me already awake. "Morning, princess." her morning voice sounds lovely as ever. "Goodmorning, chicken.", I giggled from her reaction. "Chicken?~. How bout~~Jagi".
"Hmmm. Ok chicken. Maybe next time.", I teased before getting up. We spent several minutes together before she had to go to her room.
I really hope Jennie and Jisoo make things up with each other. Tonight will be our first performance together which I'm so excited about. Knock, Knock, Knock, Knock, Knock. Before I could walk to the door to open it, Mae had already barged in. I roll my eyes, "Why bother knocking.", which caused laughter from others. My friends came in telling me to get ready which I already planned on doing.
The girls had already asked the others if they wanted to join which they gladly accepted. Only one person declined, and that person was Jennie Kim. I gave Lisa, Chae, and Jisoo a kiss on the cheek telling them I'll be right back. "She doesn't want to.", Jisoo stopped me.
"She didn't forgive you." I stated rather than a question. I saw her only nod so I decided to bring her along with me. "Y/n, no. Maybe she just needs some space.". Somehow I managed to drag her all the way to Jennie's room and that's when she made the effort to yank away from my grip. "Stop! Just let it go. I'll figure it out afterwards.". Why is she refusing to go?
Before I could say anything or even knock, the door opened. There I saw Jennie wearing something simple, but didn't seem like she was going out. "What.", she plainly asked. "Are you mad at me?". Why is she looking at me like that? "Why does it matter to you.".
"What did I do?". I asked straightforward which is pretty bold of me knowing who I'm facing right now. "You took her side! And what about me?! You just shut the door on my face while you...while you let her in?!". Her teeth were gritted as her hands clenched to fists. I closed my eyes trying to keep calm. I look back at Jisoo who's quietly staring at the floor.
"Are you still mad at Jisoo?", as if I hadn't made her more angry. "You told her to apologize didn't you? Even if she did what difference would it make." her eyes were definitely giving off death glares. Clearly a sign that she hasn't forgiven her. "Jennie-"
"Were you there?! Did you hear what she told me!-"
"Yes! She told me everything.". That made Jen quiet.
"You think she's the only one who should be apologizing?! What about you! Have you ever considered how she felt! You f**king hit her too! And yet, SHE came here first to apologize. I did not ask her to, but she did anyway". The look on Jennie's face was shocked. I haven't really scolded her lashed out on her the way I am now. "Are you serious?", her low tone made me feel uneasy, but I couldn't back down now. I huffed out a sigh, "I'm also upset about what Jisoo said, but hitting?", A flash of guilt was shown until being replaced by her pride.
"You two are spending the day together until our performance tonight.". I dragged Jisoo inside Jennie's room. "Don't even think! about leaving without you two resolving things out.". Both of them fell silent because I'm really being serious. They have been friends or more like family longer than I have been with them. I would hate myself if I were the cause of them breaking that kind of relationship. I've already gone through that with mine.
I was making my way back when I turned the corner I saw the girls. Nari frantically pressing the button for the elevator. I'm speechless right now seeing so much eavesdroppers. "H-hey, Y/n", Lisa scratched her nape. "Don't tell me you all heard that.". All of them were silent making me smack my forehead. "You were pretty scary back there, not going to lie.", Shelly said.
