Recovering

Y/n POV

Heʻs....gone. Just like that. How is it that just an hour or two after my sister left she happened to arrest the boss of YG. That...monster. Why is this so hard for me to accept? I should be happy, but I'm just consumed in fear. I'm even more afraid then before and I don't know why.

"Hey, Y/n. Are you ready?", Mae was holding my hand. I'm so lost right now, but at the same time I'm keeping up with everything.

Nodding my head, "Y-yeah. Let's go.". Our group has been moving a little slow, and I honestly donʻt remember our recent events. Our new boss is a woman, but right now all I can think about is when he'll be back. What will he do. Is he getting out soon?

Right now we were on our way to practice and I haven't been texting back any new messages. Wondering what Blackpink is up to and how they're doing because they still don't know what happened between me and him. I don't want to talk about it or remember.

"Alright, ladies. If you could all line up please.", one of the staff spoke to us. It's interesting how people change after we have shown success through our hard work they put us through. Suddenly I see a lady in a grey suit. She had on glasses and held some kind of folder and clipboard.

"Starlight, this is your new boss. CEO, Hwang Bo-kyung.", The staff member spoke. I didn't know what to do or think, but I bowed a little following my bandmates in welcoming and introducing ourselves. She was nice and all and I was grateful for that. She didn't stay so long, but she watched us practice then she had to excuse herself for other matters since she is new.

"Ok, let's take a break.", Shelly spoke making me sigh softly.

I went to the phone to play the music again on the speakers, "I'm gonna practice a little more.", I mumbled. I know they're trying to take it easy for me, but I don't want to drag us down because of the unfortunate events that have happened.

"Y/n, let's just take a quick break at least.", Nari spoke. Hana chipped in and I could see the concerned looks they gave me.

I shook my head, "Guys I'm fine really. Been through worse so can I please practice?". They didn't budge to stop me and I was grateful for that. I gotta stop being pitied. I can't be weak. Taking a deep breathe I continued to practice.

3rd person POV

Blackpink have been awfully busy with their comeback and tour they had. Blinks are left with wanting more and wondering what's next for the four girls ever since the collaboration with Starlight. The four girls haven't been able to talk to their lover for some time, and it hasn't been easy on them to be left hanging on the girl's wellbeing.

Clara on the other hand has had time for herself and is trying to help her best friend all she can. Right now she was figuring out what to do with her so called sister, "So. Is there like...a reason why you're still here?", she asked showing no mercy.

Penny sighed and placed the cup of coffee down onto the counter, "I'm here for Y/n? To spend time with her. Be...an actual sister to her.", she lowered her head down by the disappointment the older latter found in herself.

"Y/n has gone through enough I think. I'm not going to be a bitch and try blocking you out of her life. But if anything happens to my best friend. I will beat your ass and not think twice.", Clara pointed out and that surprisingly caused a small smile towards Penny. Knowing Clara was being genuine and truthful by her words.

"Good. I'm glad she has someone like you in her life.", the older latter commented catching Clara off guard. The girl just nodded her head in response and the two talked for awhile until Penny was called in for work.
