Y/n POV
After school ended I went straight home. Swinging my bag off my shoulder and flopping right into my comfy bed. I left out a deep sigh and I felt drained of energy. Next thing I know I'm knocked out cold and taking a nap.
Late afternoon
I wake up from my nap and check the time seeing that it's 5:35 pm. I slowly sit up and I go to the kitchen to warm up something to eat for my myself. I turn on some music playing from the speakers resting in the living room because it's too quite.
Being alone in a big house is not as fun as others say, but I guess that's because they don't have their family working 24/7. I'm the youngest. It's just me, mom, dad, and my older sister. I never invited Clara over because I don't want her thinking I'm such a loner or worse, she might bring a lot of people and throw a party. I don't want to be waking up with my house looking like a dumpster which is why there won't ever be a party.

I've been on my own for 3 years now. The last day of summer before I started as a sophomore was the day my family left me to go for work.
My Mom was CEO of the famous entertainment industry STARLUX. All of the most famous actors were part of the industry. My Mom has been on the news and talk shows many times. I could see she is proud of her work.
My Dad works for his own company as well. His company is called IGNITE. He works with technology and inventions which I think is pretty cool. He has also been on the news and talk shows like my mom. They are well known around the world... they are famous.
And than there's my sister, Penny. The eldest of the family. She actually works for my Mom because she became an actor. She wanted to become famous and she easily got it. She also thought it would make mom proud which it did. Mom wasn't so tough on Penny when she wanted to be a part of the industry, and she told my sister that she had to work hard for it. But I knew my Mom would've done anything to let her be a part of her success.
All of them live in LA now while I'm still here in y/s (y/s means your state).
They call me every now and then, and it makes me glad to know that they still remember me. They told me once I graduated that I can fly over to see them and live with them. As long as I have a job that pays well because they wouldn't be handling my money problems. I chuckled a little, and than suddenly I frowned. I don't know why, but I suddenly went into deep thoughts about my future.
Luckily the microwave was done heating up my food and I snapped back into reality. I'm glad I know how to cook because I wouldn't be going out every single night to get food. Every weekend my parents send me money to help provide for things I need like food, clothes, etc.
After finishing my dinner and watching tv I was too tired to even do anything else. But I just took a nap! I check the time to see it's 10:50 pm. Almost 11:00. I should go sleep anyway. Thank goodness it's Friday. I closed my eyes smiling knowing I don't have to wake up early.
Next Day
Y/n POV
I wake up to my alarm and I slowly open my eyes. I look at my phone being all frustrated as to why I set up an alarm in the first place. As a matter of fact, I don't even remember setting up an alarm! It was 6:30 am. I wanted to throw my phone out the window, but I remembered that I have a breakfast meeting with Clara. She must've set up the alarm. That sneaky little monster. She and I had a schedule to hang out the whole day.
As I got up I did my morning routine. I washed up, changed clothes, and ate breakfast. I picked out something nice to wear because I always do whenever it means going out in public.

I made my way to Cookie Cafe which was one of me and Clara's favorite hangout spots. I drove there even though it wasn't that far because Clara suggested she pick me up, but she's the one who lives further from where we were meeting. I parked my car and saw that Clara was already there waiting for me as she was sitting inside at a table. As I got out I noticed she was talking to someone dressed in all black with shades on. It was a man. I wonder who he was. He looks like a spy. I said to myself.
I got closer to the shop to see Clara looking all serious which is something I barely see. I slowly entered the cafe and she saw me. Her serious face than turned into a happy smiley face that I always see and the man turns around. Wow he's tall. I said in my head.
"Oh! And you must be Y/n", he said in a nice tone. I was a little shy, but seeing how nice he turns out to be I greeted him back.
"H-hi. My name is... o wait." I said. I whack my hand to my forehead and closed my eyes. I'm stupid. I'm stupid. Repeating that same phrase in my head.
The tall guy laughed and so did Clara. I also laughed as well because it was funny, but embarrassing as well. I looked at Clara with a "who is this" look and she said, "Oh. Y/n this is Kyle...my..uh..umm. uncle"
I was a little confused as to why she hesitated to introduce him to me, but I shook it off and nodded my head.
I said, "Nice to meet you Kyle.". He gave me a smile "It was nice meeting you too, Y/n. Sadly I have to go. You two have fun now!", he said walking out of the cafe.
I than sat at the table and leaned closer to Clara. "He looks like a spy.", I said acting serious. Clara and I both laughed out loud and we began our day.
We went shopping for new clothes to prepare for our trip to Korea tomorrow and I bought some nice clothes that I think are fit for wearing there. I don't know if my style will stand out in Korea since I don't live there, but all I know is that I need to bring lots of money for my trip because there is no way I'm coming back home empty handed.
"So are you ready to go to Korea!", Clara said jumping up and down.
I jump along with her and say, "HELL YEA!". I was so excited because our school gave us a huge surprise that was last minute. I was blown out of my mind when they said that they bought tickets to see... you already know.
