Busy Times

3rd person POV

Y/n has never felt closer to BLACKPINK then she does now. That night made the four fall in love with the younger latter more than ever, and Y/n felt the same. All of them seemed so busy since STARLIGHT was new. They've had so much side work just like the four popular girls do too. Photoshoots, music videos, interviews, etc. It's been difficult to have time to themselves nowadays, and it's been harder to keep their relationship a secret too. 

Y/n and her group were working on their choreography for their songs while Blackpink has outside work as ambassadors. 

Y/n managed to call Penny one night and they managed to have good conversation with each other. Both seemed to be a little closer than before and Y/n was happy to have the her sister and remaining family member to be a part of her life. 

"We have a comeback that we're working on right now. But you know you have to keep it secret. So don't tell anyone ok?"

"Yes! Finally some new songs. I have all your guys' songs on my k-pop playlist", Penny mentioned. 

Y/n chuckled, "You actually like listening to k-pop?"

"Well I started listening to it because of you guys. It's not bad. I like Blackpink's music too. I have BTS and Itzy on here." Penny rambled on. The older sister was glad to be a part of Y/n's life, and being able to have someone to talk to despite the hardship their parents put them through. 

"But which group do you like better?", Y/n asked smiling. 

Penny chuckled, "You guys. I'm pretty honest. Or maybe Blackpink." she teased. 

Y/n also tried to make time for her best friend, but most of all her girlfriends. It was hard considering they only had the time to text or call. Now STARLIGHT was in the dance studio practicing a choreography for a song that they have been working on for their new album.

The girls practiced hard to perfect their moves. Blackpink also practiced and worked on for their next world tour BORN PINK

With the BLACPINK's new comeback it would be harder for STARLIGHT to gain their recognition. YG believed it would best to for Y/n and her group to release their new album after the four girls who have a bigger fanbase. Plus STARLIGHT still has a lot of work to do. All that Y/n thought about it how she will be able to spend time with the four while she has to work on their comeback while her girlfriends are going to be busy. 

Y/n POV

Time sure does pass quickly with how busy and hectic my life has been. I'm so proud of my girlfriends for how hard they have worked for their new album. They must be so excited. I'm fine with my group having a later release date for our new album. I know my bandmates aren't so thrilled about waiting, but they cannot wait to hear Blackpink's new songs. 

Today they released a dance video that I never got a chance to see yet. Once I did I was in complete awe. How my jaw dropped seeing them perform. My smile not leaving once when they danced. It was iconic. They're so talented and I wish I can work up to that kind of potential. Seeing how I have some time right now to myself I decided to text them.
