 * Two day's until Thanksgiving *

The plane had landed in Seattle 45 minutes ago.

Harry and I were here to pick up Rex to take him to Indiana with us for our first family Thanksgiving since my mom officially beat cancer.

The past few weeks I have been on the phone with the hospital going over every possible situation that could occur and what I would need to do.

Rex was going to be away from the hospital for a week, while we were picking up him, we were also picking up medications.

Instead of surprising him Harry and I had sat down and called him to make sure he was comfortable with doing this. It was his decision, and he was over the moon about it.

The elevator doors opened to the floor Rex was on.

Harry had squeezed my hand that was interlocked in his. It's only been a few weeks since we've seen Rex, but we missed him...we missed him a lot.

We walked down the hall where I could hear Hailey's voice speaking to Rex. "Okay, one more before you go" she spoke. "The doctors have found a new virus going around called the Peak-a-boo Virus" I heard Rex speak in a gravelly voice. I leant my self against the door, Harry right behind me with his hands resting on my shoulders.

I was looking a Rex who looked exhausted, but nonetheless in a good mood.

"They sent all people that were diagnosed with Peak-a-boo straight to the ICU" Rex finished making Hailey shake her head laughing giving Rex a high five. Harry had snorted behind me while I covered my mouth from cackling.

Rex turned to look at us with a lazy smile that soon turned into a grin.

"Anna! Harry!" He called out.

"Hey, little man" I spoke pushing myself off the wall meeting Rex's grin. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he hugged me tightly to him, I pressed a kiss to the top of his head happy to be able to be with him again.

Harry had done the same thing to Rex who was laughing at the amount of kisses that were being pressed to his head.

Hailey had smiled at the interaction between Rex and Harry before stepping over to me. "He is all ready to go, His doctor had run a few tests yesterday and they all came back negative" she told me the both of us smiling at the news.

"That's my boy" Harry said fist bumping Rex who smiled proudly.

"Well I'll leave you guy's to it, you have my number if you need anything even just a simple question" she said smiling before giving Rex a hug. "See you in a week Tyrannosaurus" she said making Harry laugh. "I haven't thought of that one" he spoke making Rex roll his eyes and shake his head earning a proud smirk from Hailey before she left.

"I'm so grateful you guys are doing this for me, but it's the butt crack of dawn, the sun's not even up" Rex said rubbing his eyes.

"I know, I'm sorry, but you can sleep on the plane, we got a straight shot there, no changing planes" I told him. We figured it would be easier on him since it was his first time flying. "Thank you again for bringing me to meet your family" Rex said softly. "Well, Rex we are family, so really you're just meeting the rest of yours." I told him.

Harry had helped Rex out of his bed while I grabbed Rex's backpack and his rolling suite case. I knew to make Rex's backpack his carry on because his medications were in there.

We had made our way out of the hospital with three smiles and a Rex clung to Harry's back.
