*THREE YEARS LATER*

I packed my camera equipment as well as my laptop. Now I got to get my life together and pack my clothes, ugh.

"Olive, have you seen my dress for the wedding?" I shout from my room so she can hear me. "Yeah, it's in my closet. Give me a second." She responds.

"Here" she says entering my room. "Thank you!" I say smiling at her.
"Yeah, do you think my dress is wedding appropriate?" She asks me.

"Yeah I love it. It looks cute on you too, you'll be fine." I say reassuring her.

"I am excited!" She said. I smile at her nodding. "Is Jay coming?" I asked. "Yeah he bought his ticket last night" she says smiling excitedly.

Jay is Olives boyfriend. They have been together for a little over a year now. As for me I am 22 and still single.

But that is okay. I am in no place for a relationship at the moment.

My brother is getting married in a week, and me and Olive are flying back to where I was born to go to it. He asked me to be him and his brides photographer, and I couldnt be more happy.

Olive, Jay and me are flying from LA to Fort Wayne, Indiana tomorrow morning.

I hate getting up at the butt crack of dawn but... it will be fun right?

Three hours later and I am finally done packing and cleaning the apartment. I think I have everything I need and I am under 50 pounds in my duffle!

I will not be the girl that needs to pay an extra $100 to get her duffle on the plane...not this time.

I make sure my outfit for the plane tomorrow is ready and sitting on my dresser.

I put a new pack of gum and my headphones in my backpack sonic dont forget them in the morning.

"Hey Anna, do you want spaghetti?" Olive asks. "Oh my gosh, yes I would love some" I groan realizing how hungry and tired I am.

"Okay I'll make some. Why don't you go take a shower, you look exaughted." Olive speaks.

"You just read my mind" I tell her letting out a laugh. She smiles pointing between both of our heads like she is physic as she walks out of my bedroom and to the kitchen.

I go into the bathroom turning the shower on hot. I stripped down and got in, relaxing when the hot water hit my skin.

I let out a long sigh. These last 3 years have been tough and exaughsting. I just want things to be normal for once.

I graduated UCLA with a major in photography a year ago. My childhood dog died of old age two years ago. It was tough she was my first love, and my bestfriend. I loved her so much and I miss her. I needed her.

My mom beat cancer this year. It was a long hard fight. Many sleepless nights crying. I don't pray ever. But I never begged god to help me so much in my life. She is and always will be my best friend.

I took every chance I could to visit her, but I had to complete my junior and senior year of college too.

Right now I feel exaughted but I want to focus on the positives. I mean my big brother is getting married and I am so very happy for him.

And my mom gets to be there to watch it.

I get out of the shower wrapping a towel around my body and brush through my wet hair. My hair is pretty long and tangles bad when it's wet.

I go back into my room pulling my pajamas out. I slide on my shorts and put on an oversized sweatshirt.

I smell the spaghetti Olive made and my mouth instantly started watering. "Anna, dinner is ready!" she calls out as if right on cue.
