Hey Guys... This chapter broke me too.

* * *

Two months later

I stared at the ring on the counter, as I washed the dishes from breakfast, while in one of Harry's sweatshirts and my shorts. My hair was in a messy braid going down my shoulder.

It probably looked like I hadn't slept in a few day's...it's because I haven't.

Mom was starting to spend more of her time in bed or outside on the lounger.

Things were starting to get more real.

What shocks me the most is, I'm okay.

I've accepted it and I realize all I can do right now is make her comfortable, and spend my time with her and do what she asks of me.

Rex was attending an online school for the time being knowing these are becoming his final moments with her too.

Olive and Jay chose to put their careers on hold, my brother taking a paid leave.

I was getting paid to take pictures of our final good memories.

I felt Harry's presence before he had touched me.

"You okay?" He asked leaving his lips on my cheek. "Is it bad if I say yes?" I asked. He smiled softly, "No, I think its good" he told me.

I put the dish down, drying my hands with a rag.

"Mom told me she was ready to do something spontaneous tonight" I told him turning around.

"What is it?" "It's going to start to rain really bad in an hour, she wants to sit in the bed of the truck and drive through it." I told him. "She said it's something her and dad never got to do in high school" I told him.

"Sounds perfect" he whispered.

It really did.

Tasha and Andrew had gone out to get supplies to do this safely so Harry and I were watching Blue, while Rex, Olive and Jay found all the blankets they could get.

I didn't want Mom catching a cold on top of this.

I watched as Mom held Blue through the window smiling down at the six month old.

He was growing so fast.

Harry helped me dry and put away the dishes before we both went outside setting up Andrews truck.

There were twinkle lights in the bed of it, and waterproof blankets to cover them up when they're back there.

I had helped Mom change into her warm clothes.

"Anna?" She whispered.

I looked at her as I gently pulled her hood over her head.

"Thank you" she whispered. "You and Andrew are so special. But I thank you both for finding amazing friends, and special partners who you bond with like best friends should. Your father and I were like that our whole lives, we matured faster than other kids and had kids early, and I didn't realized how much I lived without being a teenager in love. But you all are making that happen" she told me a soft smile on her face.

I pursed my lips.

"You know that feeling you get when you see your kid truly happy?" I asked her earning a nod.

"It's one of the best fucking feelings ever" she told me.

"That's how I also feel about you Mom. You're my first love you gave me happiness and all I want to do is give it to you in return." I told her.
