Chapter Twenty-nine

Baekhyun walks back inside the house and shuts the door behind him. He grabs his phone from the kitchen counter and dials Jongin's number. Luckily for him, Jongin was already out of their family house and decides to drop by. On the condition that Baekhyun will make food for him to eat.

After the call ends, Baekhyun wants nothing other than a warm shower for himself. So he makes his way up into their bedroom and takes off his clothes, As soon as he reaches the bathroom, and stands in front of the huge mirror, he kind of notices how round his stomach is starting to look. Unexpectedly, his eyes turn blurry. He's beginning to show. His stomach is beginning to show. Of a truth, he's pregnant. Baekhyun knows what the results of his checkups were, but sometimes he just wishes all that has happened to him in the last few weeks and months were a dream.

Delightful with how his stomach is growing, Baekhyun brings his hand to touch and rub his stomach, tears of joy drop from his eyes unexpectedly. He's happy he's going to be a father. But he had one thing; fear, fear of the unknown. He wants to be happy for his unborn child, but this is new to him. How is he going to give birth to this child? How do men have babies? What will the child look like? Will their baby be a boy or a girl? Baekhyun is scared of even knowing the gender of his unborn child. If it's a girl, will she be pretty like him? Will his son be handsome and have Chanyeol's cute ears too?

Ah, Chanyeol's ears are his favorite. Will their son or daughter have them? Baekhyun laughs to himself. A sigh of relief leaves his lungs. "My little peanut, how are you? grow bigger quickly. I can't wait to see you and have you in my arms. I love you."

Some minutes later, Baekhyun steps out from the bathroom, wiping his wet body dry. Thereafter, he proceeds to use his lotion, deodorant, and other cosmetics he uses anytime he takes a bath. He finished wearing his clothes and decides to change their sheets. So he begins to tidy their bedroom. A few moments later, his phone rings, followed by the doorbell. And Baekhyun knew it would be his best friend; Jongin. So he drops the new sheet he brought out from the closet and goes for the phone. Just like he thought, it's Jongin.

"Are you here? Did you fly? Oh...I'm coming." Baekhyun says into the phone as he makes his way out of the bedroom for the stairs. He sprints towards the door, excited to see Jongin. Immediately he walks past Mongie, the dog abandons her toy and runs after him. Wiggling her hips and waiting for her owner to open the door. As soon as Jongin surfaces, Mongie starts to bark and jump around, seeking attention.

"Look who we have here..." Jongin hugs Baekhyun and goes for Mongie who lays on the floor with her back down and showing her stomach for Jongin to rub. "~Mongie hello~" he tickles and rubs her belly a bit and she barks and squirms excitedly and suddenly runs off only to run back to Jongin with full speed. They both chuckle as Jongin catches Mongie and stands to his feet carrying her in his arms, then she starts to lick his chin. "She's so energetic and playful." Jongin asserts cheerfully, earning a whining yawn from Mongie.

"Yeah, I know right." Baekhyun laughs as he locks the door from behind, helping Jongin with a comfy flip-flop. Then they make their way into the living room properly. "So how is my dearest broken ruler friend doing? Pregnancy looks good on you, Baekhyun. Look at you, you are freaking glowing."

"Really? I didn't notice." Baekhyun quickly stands and moves to the glass door leading to their other mini living room to check himself out. But all he's seeing is Baekhyun with a growing belly. Sighing, he walks back to the couch to sit down. "I didn't see anything Jongin. And stop teasing me. You knew I was only joking when I said that I wasn't gay," Baekhyun pouts.

Jongin laughs. "Really? You were joking that you were never gay? but a straight ruler who got broken after bending? Nah! I don't believe you." Jongin laughs even more. "Baek, on a more serious note, tell me, how many times did you guys...you know, do it before he scored the goal?" Jongin winks and laughs, he likes messing with Baekhyun a lot.
