Jongin being the only one left there grabs the results the doctor had given to Baekhyun earlier and bows in apology for his friend's behavior, before walking out of the consultation office in search of Baekhyun. Good thing he already cleared the hospital bill when his friend was still being attended to, so there was no need to waste time.
Jongin punches the ground floor button of an already open elevator and the box closes up. As soon as the ding sound from the elevator ensues, and the door opens up, Jongin dashes out to the parking lot, but there is no sign of Baekhyun anywhere. Did he fly? Jongin wonders as he breaths heavily.
A sigh of relief escapes Jongin when he sees Baekhyun on foot a few blocks away. He quickly runs for his car to go after Baekhyun. Jongin starts to horn when he reaches where Baekhyun is, but his friend continues to walk without looking. "Baekhyun what are doing? You will hurt yourself-"
"Isn't that the best thing ever?! Huh?" Baekhyun throws his tired arms in the air but continues to walk.
Hold on, why is Baekhyun angry at him though? What did he do? "I am not the one responsible Baekhyun, so stop shouting and get into the car." Jongin clarifies and Baekhyun screams at him in frustration.
"Fuck off, Jongin! You bitch! How could you sit there and watch that doctor lie to me?" Baekhyun's mood is becoming funny and Jongin did not want to laugh even though he's trying so hard not to.
Astonished, Jongin stares at Baekhyun, "What do you expect me to do? Slap him?" Jongin manages to say, his eyes occasionally glancing at the road so he doesn't crash.
"You could have done something Jongin! Anything!" Baekhyun blinks away the tears in his eyes as he begins to move faster ahead of Jongin's car, frustrated at his best friend's question of sarcasm.
"Okay, I'm sorry. But can you just come inside the car? Please, Let me take you home."
"You can go home, I will find my way back home,"
"I'm sorry Baek, please get in. The sun is too hot." Jongin begs and after about a minute of Baekhyun walking on foot, he gives up and decides to enter the car with a hiss, slamming the passenger door loud.
The car ride is silent, Baekhyun is just now calm, but he can't look at Jongin. He just throws his face to the side, looking out through the window in silence, while Jongin just minds his business, driving. He didn't know why his friend reacted the way he did earlier. He has never come across a pregnant male before, Baekhyun is the first. Could this be the hormone relating to the pregnancy? Jongin sighs.
