Hwasa unlocks her apartment and walks in later that evening and flops down on the couch. Slowly, her mind drifts back to what she saw in the afternoon. After she stumbled upon Chanyeol and his lover with Hyeji's son, she's starting to have missed feelings. She didn't know if telling Hyeji would be the right thing to do, considering how bitter and eager she has been over the week.

Hyeji has changed from the lovely cheerful friend she used to know back in those days. And right now, she's not sure she can trust her friend anymore. With the look of how this has been going on between Park Chanyeol and her friend, with all she did to him, how she dumped that little boy and eloped with another man, Hwasa thinks Chanyeol deserves to be happy. And if he finds that happiness in that pretty little boy she saw him with earlier today, it's all good.

A deep sigh of relief escapes Hwasa's lips as she decides to take off her shoes. Suddenly, the door of their balcony opens up revealing Hyeji who seems to have finished smoking because she wrecks cigarettes. "You are back?" Hyeji floors down on the couch beside her. "How was work today?"

"Stressful, but good."

"Hmm...stressful, but good," Hyeji frowns, "Which one are you picking? The good? Or the stressful?"

"Both," Hwasa chuckles. "What I meant is that work was stressful but it was worth it because I was able to tick off a lot from my to-do list. So...yeah."

Hyeji rolls her eyes in sarcasm to her friend's statement, saying; "Trouble for those who do not have a job that will stress them, Ahem..." they stop talking and lock eyes with each other only to burst out laughing. "I hate you I swear." Hwasa whines and Hyeji laughs even more. "I know bitch, I know. Go take a shower, I made dinner for us."

As they are eating, Hyeji starts forking her meal and only eating a little out of it. And this draws Hwasa's attention. "Is everything alright?"

A sigh leaves Hyeji's lungs as she drops her cutlery too. "Are my sins too much to not be forgiven? Why does Chanyeol hate me this much?" Hyeji spoke, her eyes begin to water, "I have begged this man. He wouldn't even let me see my son and right now, I don't even know what his name is or what he looks like, I've tried going to his school but I was not able to take him."

"I don't understand. Hyeji, you want to take him away from his father?-"

"He's n-I mean, it's not like that. I just want to see my son. I want to touch my son. Hwasa it's been 5 years...tell me, hasn't he punished me enough?"

She's crying.

And Hwasa does not know how to console her. She gently stretches her hand across the table to grab Hyeji's hand, rubbing it soothingly. "It's okay, Chanyeol is probably still angry with you about what you did. But I believe he will surely come around soon. Just give him time."

"Did you say, just give him time? Do you even know he called his lawyer on me? Asking me to stay away from him?"

"He did?" Hwasa pretends to be shocked. After all, she was the one that gave Hyeji's number to Chanyeol the day he dropped by at her workplace with a friend. But what she did not know is that that friend that was with Chanyeol that day is a lawyer. And the sole purpose of giving Chanyeol the number was because she felt they wanted to talk things through and resolve whatever issues on the ground. But a restriction warning, Hwasa didn't see that coming. "This is messed up Hyeji." Hwasa lets out a sigh. "The truth is that I gave your number to Chanyeol because I thought he had forgiven you. I'm sorry."
