When Sunday eventually dawned, Baekhyun was bubbling with anticipation, eagerly looking forward to reuniting with the man he held deep affection for. The clock struck 8:45 a.m., and Chanyeol's call came, just as he was about to board. The news of their imminent departure sent shivers of excitement down Baekhyun's spine. He longed for that moment when he would embrace the father of his unborn child, the man he loved with an intensity that set his soul ablaze.

Amid this excitement, Baekhyun found himself in a wardrobe dilemma. He tried on various outfits from his collection, only to discover that they were becoming a bit too snug for his growing form. Frustration settled in as each piece he attempted to wear seemed to accentuate his increasing belly. During their recent mall visit, he would have purchased a few new clothing items had he known he'd soon be displaying a more noticeable baby bump. At first glance, he worried that he appeared as if he might be dealing with a bout of constipation, making him feel self-conscious and incredibly bashful.

In the end, he had little choice but to opt for one of Chanyeol's hoodies. They offered him a sense of security; not only were they more generously sized, but they also carried a comforting scent that was undeniably Chanyeol's.

Once he had successfully dressed, Baekhyun descended the stairs to lend Auntie Ha-Neul a hand with food preparation in the kitchen. Meanwhile, the cleaning staff diligently went about their tasks, ensuring the house was in impeccable order for the CEO's return. The table was set with an array of dishes to greet Chanyeol upon his arrival.

While in the living room section, Baekhyun couldn't help but smile as he observed Jun playing with Mongie. Their bond appeared to be growing stronger with each passing day, a sharp contrast to Chanyeol's relationship with the feline companion. It was no secret that Mongie harbored a certain disdain for Chanyeol, and Baekhyun was equally certain that Chanyeol reciprocated the sentiment, as they rarely managed to find common ground.

About three hours after takeoff, Chanyeol's call finally came through. Baekhyun's heart leaped with joy as he answered, "Chanyeol babe, you've landed!" His voice was filled with genuine excitement.

Chanyeol's warm voice greeted him on the other end. "Yes, I just touched down, baby."

Baekhyun couldn't contain his enthusiasm. "I can't wait to see you, babes. Jun and I have missed you so much."

Chanyeol's affectionate tone carried a hint of longing. "I have missed you all, I can't wait to see you and Jun either. I've been thinking about it the entire week. I can't wait to hold you both in my arms, kiss you, and... inhale your scents."

Baekhyun blushed at the intimate words, unable to hide his desire. "I've missed you too, Chanyeol. Dangtae is there to pick you up, by the way."

Chanyeol's gratitude was evident in his voice. "Thank you, baby. I'll be home soon. Just a little longer, and we'll be together again."

After his heartwarming conversation with Chanyeol, Baekhyun couldn't help but smile and blush. The anticipation of Chanyeol's return, the father of his unborn child, filled him with excitement. He missed Chanyeol dearly and couldn't wait for them to be reunited as a family once more. With a sense of eagerness, he promptly informed Auntie Ha-Neul about the CEO's impending arrival, urging the cleaners to expedite their work.

As the minutes ticked by, he decided to spend some quality time with Jun. He found the toddler playing with his toys this time in the living room and sat down beside him on the couch. "Hey, little one," Baekhyun began, his voice filled with affection, "guess what?"
