Kyungsoo and Yifan arrived at Yifan's house, the weight of the previous night's events hanging heavily between them. Yifan, with bruises marring his face, looked exhausted, the dark circles under his eyes a stark contrast to his usual composed demeanor. Kyungsoo, while equally tired, was more troubled by the recent revelations and the strain on their relationship.

As they stepped inside, Kyungsoo couldn't contain his frustration any longer. "Yifan, you need to explain this. You can't just brush it off like it's nothing. You slept with Chanyeol's fiancée!"

Yifan dropped his keys on the table with a loud clatter, his expression hardening despite the pain from his injuries. "I've already told you, Kyungsoo. Hyeji and I are in the past. Yes, we both had a history before Chanyeol came into the picture. I met her first but we were just friends, nothing intimate until that night."

"But you didn't tell Chanyeol that you knew her when he introduced her as his girlfriend, did you?" Kyungsoo countered, his voice rising. "You kept it a secret and then slept with her behind his back!"

Yifan's patience snapped. "What do you want me to say? That I'm a terrible person? That I made a huge mistake? I fucking know that, okay? I've been living with that guilt every day of my fucking life!"

Kyungsoo's eyes narrowed. "And Jun? Does he know who his real father is?"

Yifan flinched at the question. "No, he doesn't. But now that Chanyeol knows the truth, I want my son back. Jun is my blood, and he belongs with me."

Kyungsoo looked taken aback. "You can't just uproot his life like that. Chanyeol has been a good father to him. He doesn't deserve to have his world turned upside down because of your mistakes."

Yifan's expression hardened. "I've made my decision. Jun deserves to know his real father. It's time for him to be with his true family."

Kyungsoo felt a wave of disappointment wash over him. "Are you aware that Chanyeol won't back down easily?" he asked, his voice tinged with concern.

Yifan nodded, his expression resolute. "I know. But right now, Chanyeol has nothing to lose. Baekhyun is already pregnant and will bear him children. So why should he keep my son with him?"

Kyungsoo's heart sank further. "What will you do if Chanyeol doesn't accept this? What if he fights back?" he asked, his voice filled with worry.

Yifan's expression hardened even more. "Then we'll settle it in court."

Kyungsoo's sadness deepened. "Please, don't ruin the friendship you had with Chanyeol. You should talk to him instead of making this worse. Besides, you should be feeling remorseful for sleeping with his ex-fiancée behind his back. It's bad enough already."

Yifan sighed, his resolve wavering. "I'm sorry, Kyungsoo. I really am."

Kyungsoo looked at him with pleading eyes. "And what about Hyeji? What will happen if she finds out you're taking custody of Jun? Will she let you do that?"

Yifan hesitated, his face reflecting the weight of Kyungsoo's words. "I don't know. But I have to try. Jun is my son, and I want him with me."

Kyungsoo's voice trembled as he asked, "Then what about us? What happens to me?"

Yifan looked at him with a mixture of regret and determination. "I love you Kyungsoo, and you know that. I know you can't bear me children. I'm aware that you're not a carrier. Having Jun with us would be the best option. It's better than opting for adoption."
