Prom Night.

Marielle and Alisa become closer, to the point people believed they were a couple, of course that's not the truth, Marielle is with Marc and Alisa is with a boy named Matt from school. They just let people believe what they want, it's easier than feeding the town gossips. Alisa's sister Celeste is coming to town, she is bringing James to meet her family, Celeste has sworn Alisa to secrecy, she wants it to be a surprise for Marielle. Marielle already knows but she pretends that she doesn't.  It's also close to senior prom and Marielle is looking among her mums clothes for something to wear. It's perfect timing that Celeste is bringing her father here, at least he can see his daughter off to prom and the chance to meet Marc and her friends. It's also time that her father knew about her new life as a witch, to discover that his girlfriend is also a witch. It'll be a long weekend of revelations. The upside is he already knows of the witches existence, given his wife was a witch, he has the experience. Alisa and Marielle are to head into Boston this weekend, Alisa's mom has had a prom dress made for her. They take make the decision that Alisa should drive, Marielle doesn't really know the roads. The day after prom it's Alisa's birthday, so Marielle can buy her a present during their trip, Marielle believes that'll be the day that James asks Celeste to marry him.

Alisa and Marielle drive to Boston in Alisa's car, they're followed behind by Marc and Matt, it's kinda like a double date, but Marc and Matt need suits for prom, so they take this opportunity to go and spend some time with their girls. When in a shop, Marielle hears someone say her name, thinking it was Alisa, she turns around and it's Sarah from the house. Marielle walks nervously from the shop to speak with her, Marielle is confused she says, "I thought you were all killed?" Sarah says, "the rest were, I faked death until the others left, so I've been hiding here in plain sight. I need your help." Marielle says, "I can't get involved with vampire problems, I'm sorry but I can't, you're going to have to find someone else." Marc sees Marielle and Sarah talking, Marc knew exactly who she was, he walks towards her, he says, "hi Sarah, long time no see, what are you doing with my girlfriend?" Sarah explains to Marc what happened and he says, "I agree with my girlfriend, we can't get involved with vampire problems. If it's a witch for hire you need, I know of someone who'll help you. The witch you need is in New York, she will help you. We can't go against our covens wishes, Marielle got in a whole heap of shit helping you the last time, the witch in New York will help. I suggest you go, otherwise you'll not make it out of this mall alive." Sarah squares up to Marc, "are you threatening me, little boy?" Marc gives her 5 seconds to leave the mall or he'll destroy her in front of witnesses, which of course neither of them want. Sarah runs off, he shouts after her, the person you need is somewhere in Manhattan. Marc asks Marielle if she's ok? She replies, "why were you so rude to her? She almost died," Marc responds, "babe, she's already dead." Marielle laughs, "i guess you're right, she was supposed to be dead for real this time."

Marielle thinking that was the last she would see of Sarah, was wrong. Marielle goes to the bathroom and Sarah is there waiting for her, Sarah says, "your dick of a boyfriend didn't give me an address, can you ask him, where this witch is supposed to live in New York?" Marielle says, "its Manhattan, it's not that big of a place, I'm sure you'll find her? I doubt he has the address either, he would've gave it to you." Sarah says, "well, I'll be off then." Marielle asks, "what do you need a witch for?" Sarah says, "a cloaking spell, the vampires who came for us, found us using a witch. The killing of humans was before my time, I was turned not long after what they done, it had nothing to do with me, but because I was their friend, they wanted to kill me too." Marielle says, "I can do a cloaking spell on you, on the promise you get out of Massachusetts?" Sarah promises her she'll never bother her again. Marielle does the spell, she adds words that will keep a permanent eye on her, to make sure she leaves Massachusetts and stays away. Sarah thanks her and leaves. Marielle comes out of the bathroom and heads towards the shop where Marc and Matt are shopping, Marielle has got everything she came for, the boys are still arguing over what colour suits them. Then Alisa comes in and settles the debate, the blue suits Marc because of his eyes, the green suits Matt because of his complexion. They finally settle on the colours and head out of town and head home.

It's the day of the prom, Marielle's father and Celeste arrive, they spend time with Iris first, James apologises to Iris for the way he's treated her in the past, he thanks her for looking after his daughter and watches her get ready for the prom, she wears a dress he remembers so well, he bought it for his wife, they were in Cannes for a film festival, he got the dress in Paris and had it delivered to their hotel, she loved it. Seeing his daughter in it, looking so much like her mother he had tears in his eyes. Celeste remembered what she looked like from photos and said, "you look exactly like your mom, she would be so proud of you right now, I know she's watching over you." Marielle thanks her and the doorbell rings, it's Marc. James answers the door and he holds out his hand, saying, "you must be Marc? I've heard so much about you. Make sure my daughter is home in one piece tonight, I've watched Carrie." They all start laughing, Celeste shouts, "James, leave the boy alone, he'll keep her safe." Marc heard Celeste and walks in, he says, "wow, you look a..." then he shuts up and says, "great." It was obvious that Marc has always had a crush on Celeste. James just glares at him, trying to scare him but he's not easily frightened. Marc gives Marielle her corsage, he leads her by the hand and tells her that it's time for photos now otherwise they'll be late. They take some photos and James warns Marc to have his daughter home by 11 at the latest. Marc promises he would. They leave for the prom, while Celeste, James and Iris plan an evening in.
