It's almost the end of senior year, Marielle and Alisa get into their chosen colleges. They even get the same dorm room. Marc re-enrols in college, he shares a room with Matt, who is studying law as well. He and Marielle only see each other at the weekends, this is good for her, no distractions. The only distraction she has is to the coven. The upside to having Alisa in the same dorm, is they can practice spells and incantations. They of course put school work first, but on free periods they study on their magick. Soon Marielle is a herblore whizz, Alisa learns all about crystal magick. They become very accomplished witches in a short period of time. Alisa and Matt split up, they split because he joined a fraternity, she didn't want him to be a part of those type of people, they do remain good friends though. Matt is soon playing the field, it's all part of college life, Alisa too begins playing the field, she meets a girl she is attracted to, it's the first time she is attracted to a girl. Alisa brings her back to their dorm and has sex with her, Alisa finds it explosive, she continues to sleep with girls. Marielle is surprised but she likes girls as well as boys, but she is with Marc, if she wasn't she has always said, she would sleep with Alisa, they eventually do. They go to a party on campus, Marc is called home. So she goes with Alisa, they have a lot to drink and end up having sex that night, she feels guilty and tells Marc who says, "its college, it happens and she's your best friend, these things happen." Marielle can't believe how understanding he is.
Marc is still at home, his mother is sick, he must help look after her. The covens have been helping her heal but, it's not working. It turns out she has stage four brain cancer, then Iris comes. It's the first she's been out of the house in months, she's been fragile with her back and joints. Iris comes and demands that the family get her a list of ingredients, they have most of them, but they must travel to Boston to get the rest. They come home, Iris mixes a potion, she puts it in a tea, she drinks it and falls into a deep sleep for three days, once she wakes up she says, "i have no headaches, no sickness, no pain anywhere." It seems to have worked, only a scan would confirm it. They bring her for a scan and the doctors are amazed, the tumour and cancer is gone. Marc is amazed, apparently James finds out how Iris healed Marcs mom, he can't believe she cured a woman so close to deaths door. He feels regret for not letting his wife's family heal her. Celeste tells him, "honey, you didn't know, you didn't believe in it. Now you do, that's all that matters." James wonders does Marianne forgive him? He asks Celeste can she do a seance so that he can talk to his dead wife? Celeste says, "of course honey. We'll do it tonight after work." Celeste of course knows why? He wants to know if Marianne has forgiven him?
After work, Celeste and James eat dinner. They then prepare for the seance, James is a little apprehensive and scared but Celeste tells him she'll be there the whole time. They summon Marianne, who doesn't arrive as mist or see through but corporeal like before. She says, "hi Celeste, I haven't seen you since you were a baby, you've grown into a beautiful woman, you've made him so happy thank you. As for you James, stop feeling guilty, you're human, you don't understand what witchcraft is all about, you're getting used to it now, which I'm grateful for, our daughter needs you to understand. Oh and as for forgiveness, had I not. I would be haunting you. I forgave you the moment I passed from that life, to this one. I was meant to go, it was my time, James. So please stop beating yourself up, embrace this new life and new love and take care of each other. You make a wonderful couple. I love you." With that she left, James is crying, Celeste holding him, telling him "see, she forgives you. Let's move on with our lives we have so much to look forward to." They hold hands, they kiss and James says, "you're right, that part of my life is over, it's time for me to start anew, a new life with the most beautiful woman I know. I love you Celeste." They're happy, they begin planning their wedding. They get news from immigration, they can have citizenship. It's another reason to celebrate.
Celeste posts the news to Marielle, whom once again is in bed with Alisa. They can't seem to keep their hands off each other. Alisa is falling in love with Marielle, but she doesn't feel the same, she is in love with Marc. The sex is great, but it's not enough. Alisa is hurt, but she moves on and finds someone new. Alisa keeps bringing her new lover to their dorm room, all in the hope of making Marielle jealous, it doesn't work. Alisa finally falls for this girl, her attention is solely off Marielle, Marc is happy. Marc hasn't had the pleasure of sleeping with Marielle yet. Marielle tells Marc, we need a private place this weekend, I want to make love to you. I am now ready. Marc is surprised, so he books a hotel, Marielle buys new lingerie, they meet at the hotel. Marc is sitting on the chair shaking like a leaf, of course he's been with girls before, he is just excited that it's Marielle, he wants everything to be perfect. Marielle loves a nice Chardonnay, he has a bottle on ice waiting for her. Marielle arrives wearing a figure hugging dress, Marc can't believe how beautiful she looks. Marc pours her a glass of wine, they lie on the bed and talk, he leans into kiss her, she stands up, then begins taking off the dress. Marc takes off his shirt, revealing a very muscular body, she is turned on immediately by it. Marielle gets on top of him, she can feel through his pants he's hard, she opens his jeans, she slides them off, taking his underwear off too. Marielle lies down beside him, he rubs his hands up and down her body, undoing her bra, her hard nipples showing, she takes off her knickers, he slides his fingers inside her. Then he inserts himself, Marielle gasps, she feels his hugeness inside her. He starts off slow and then fast, he breaks her hymen, she's no longer a virgin. They make love over and over, falling into his arms, telling him I love you. Marc asks her to marry him? Marielle said she would love to, but they must finish college first, he agrees. They decide on a long engagement. Marc had already asked her dad before that moment in the hotel room and he gave his permission.
