The prom has arrived, Marielle and Alisa walk into together, Marc and Matt behind. They see how their ties match the girls dresses. The music again isn't up to Marc's standards, he magically changes it. The dance floor is soon full, Marc has one of his friends spike the punch again. Marc puts on slow songs so he can dance up close with Marielle, they dance up close and personal Marc telling her how she's the most beautiful woman in the room. This makes her blush, she hopes that she isn't made prom Queen. The fact she would need to wear a fake tiara and a sash is something she doesn't feel comfortable with. The entire school and the chaperones enjoy the prom, then the call for prom and king and Queen is called. It's Marc and Marielle, she can't believe it, it's something she didn't expect, she was only in the school a short while, but in that short time, she's made an impact, she's liked by everyone and now everyone is getting along with Marc. The evening comes to a close, Marc drives Marielle home, they have their first passionate kiss in the car, he thanks her for an amazing evening, Marielle also thanks him, telling him he's been the perfect gentleman. James is stood by the door, he sees the smiles on both their faces. Marc tells Marielle he's heading home, James shouts, "Marc, can you come in?" Marc tells him he'll stay a little while, he has a curfew too.
Marc and Marielle go inside, Celeste opens a bottle of wine, she gives Marielle a glass, while James and Marc have a beer. James is asking Marc what his intentions are for his daughter, Marc explains, that he really likes her and they're taking it slow. He asks what he wants to do after high school? Marc says, "I plan to go to college, I want to study law." This surprises James, he expected a small town lad to stay local and have a physical job. That's of course a judgemental stereotype he's made. Marielle plans to go to college too, she wants to be a doctor, that's all she's ever wanted to be since she was a child. Iris tells James she's made up the spare room for James, as Celeste has already told James she is spending the evening at home. Marc tells her that he's heading back that way, if she wants a lift they should go now? Celeste accepts and she kisses James goodnight and tells him and Marielle that she'll see them in the morning. Marc kisses Marielle on the cheek and says, goodnight queen, I'll see you tomorrow? Marielle says goodnight and she definitely will.
James, Marielle and Iris have some hot chocolate, Iris added some sedative to James', he's relaxed then Iris tells Marielle to tell James of her new life here, including what she has become. Marielle tells her father, that she has embraced her heritage. That she is a seer and that she is part of the family coven. James kinda knew that it would happen, he just wasn't expecting it so quickly. He says, "so, my little girl will be following in the footsteps of her mum, who was a seer too?" Iris tells him, she's embraced it well and she'll accomplish more if she remains with her maternal side. James says, "well it's a good thing, I'm planning on staying in the states. Don't be telling Marielle, but I'm planning on asking Celeste to marry me." Iris says, "James, she's a seer. She'll already know, but if you want privacy, I can help out with that? Given who she is, she'll know stuff about you before you do, I can block her reading you?" James said he would like that very much. Then asks, "does she see what goes on in the bedroom?" Iris laughs, "no love, she is can only see what the ancestors allow her to see." James says, "phew, don't want her little mind corrupted." James tells Iris he's tired, Iris leads him to bed and leaves a glass of water at his bedside. Celeste spends a night in her own house, she hasn't been in her own house for many years, her mom has more or less kept her room as she left it. Joan tells her that Alisa has discovered her gift, that she's off the hook for now, but if she's needed she must return? Celeste says, "mom, I'm only in D.C. if something happens I can be here in an hour." Joan says, "you've missed so many Sabbats, Celeste. You need to be here for Sabbats in future Celeste." Celeste promises she's going to try, she deep down misses the coven and home. Joan tells her she can't wait to finally get to know James, he seems like a decent man, "look at the daughter he raised, she is beautiful, polite and caring and our Alisa and her love each other, they are so close. Then she got the town off Marc's back, who was hounded by this town. In the space of a few weeks, he's been gaining more friends, people care about him. He was always a great kid, they just didn't understand him." Celeste says, "mom, he's amazing. A gentleman. Marielle is so kind and I feel if things get really serious, I know I can be a great mother to her, if she allows me?" Joan replies, "don't worry, he will make an honest woman out of you." Celeste tells her mom she was tired, that she's heading to bed, as they have a weekend of celebration ahead. Joan kisses her, goodnight princess, I'm waiting up for Alisa, Matt always pushes the curfew boundaries.
