The circle meets to discuss how they'll succeed. Then the kids stand up, they point to the moon, they hint that it'll be the moon that they all must draw their strength from. The adults decide to have that party for the kids, have a normal day before the battle commences. Marielle gets visions after vision, the dark witches are on their way to their town. They're currently at each road where the boundary spells are holding them back, they're chanting, trying to find a loophole. It's not working though, but they come up with a plan to lure them to a piece of land where pyres have been set for the witches. They open a boundary and they send them to the field, they see the pyres and they try to flee but they're trapped. The elders, Marielle and everyone including the children head to the pyres. It'll be the final battle. Marielle, Marc, James and Celeste tell the children what they need to do. This will be the children's first vanquishing of bad witches and dark magick.

The covens arrive, the children in tow. They see the witches, they raise their hands and expel the darkness, it flows out of most except one, she's the witch that gave Alisa all the darkness. To Joan and Celeste they can't wait to see her burn. They walk towards the witches lying on the grass convulsing, the most powerful one is calling on the darkness that gave her, her powers, but she doesn't get an answer. The witches inch towards them slowly, she is calling and chanting but to no avail. Then she tries to target the children, but they hold hands, they chant stuff that none of them have heard before. The powerful one, is on her knees holding her head, the rest of them holding their heads too, which means the darkness still hasn't fully left them. The children take Marielle's hand, they walk towards them, they're stood next to them. They shouted, they weren't giving up their powers. Then the other witches grabbed them, they tied them to the pyres, the coven ask them do they have any last words? They all say, no, we'll get our revenge on you natural witches in the next life. The covens stand back, they hide the children but they push their way forwards, holding hands, they light the pyres, the witches burn.

The covens wait until the bodies are completely calcify, they take them off the pyres and put them in urns. The covens declare that even though they're from darkness, they were still witches once, they became consumed by darkness, causing Alisa wanting to burn down the and the town. This is also a lesson for the coven, Alisa and anyone else that wants to hurt the people of the town. They take them and bury them in the world famous Howard Street Cemetery. They take the children, the covens and their families back to Iris's house where they celebrated their success, getting Alisa back, to get the children knowledge of what's to come in their futures.

Marielle hears from Alisa, she is happy, she thanks Marielle for coming into her life and she's happy that she's happy. Alisa also has other news for her, she's passing her accountant exams, that she and Lydia are planning a baby. Marielle thanks her for her call and she'll have a job in her surgery or with James when she finally passes. Alisa tells her that she won't be moving back to Salem. There's too much bad memories there, she's happy in her little home with Lydia and that's all she needs. Marielle says, "wise move, things will always be the same around here, crazy as you know, it's best keeping Lydia out of the crazy." Alisa agrees and says, "promise to visit us soon, I'd really love to get to know little Irianne, if it weren't for her, my family would still want me dead." Marielle promises that she and Marc will visit soon and will bring Irianne. Finally all is well in Salem, at least for now. The covens, Marielle and the families all bond over the crazy few years.
