Lydia still hasn't seen Alisa, nor is she ready to. Lydia informs Marielle that her family will help, there will be other help on the cards too. Alisa won't know what hit her. Alisa is alone, no powers and shunned. Marielle tells Celeste about the entire situation and that her sister is planning on making it like 1692 all over again. Celeste can't believe how far her sister has fallen but as everyone knows, this is Agnes' last laugh. Alisa has already met with people that claim to be witch hunters, Alisa watches as they build pyres in the fields outside the town boundary. Marielle sees this, she casts a spell on every pyre so it doesn't burn. They build hundreds of them, each bearing a name of every witch in the town. Alisa is with these disgusting people as they tour the town picking up witches. They firstly come across a young group of witches, they're barely finishing high school, they load each of them into the van. They beg Alisa to help them, Alisa ignores them, her coldness is something that no one has ever seen. Alisa takes them with the hunters to the pyres, they tie them to the pyres that adorn their names. The girls are crying, begging for their lives. Then Alisa goes with the hunters and gathers hundreds of witches, tying them to the pyres. Marielle tells the covens this is the time to strike back. They head towards the town boundary and watch as the hunters try and fail to light the pyres.

The covens swoop in, they cast a spell so that the hunters and Alisa can't move. They go in and untie the girls and the others. Alisa is then grabbed, she's tied up with hemlock ropes, although she has no powers, this weakens her further. The hunters are bundled into their van, they're driven to a warehouse already prepared for their arrival. The girls and witches are released, the elders of each coven and Marielle arrive. They have the hunters tied up, Alisa is weakened, she's begging for her life. The rules of engagement are simple, Alisa broke the covenant of killing her own. They are deciding her fate and the majority will decide. Her fate is death if the elders and Marielle believe it's the safest course of action. They come to the agreement, that she's bound permanently, her powers won't ever come back, even if she found the most powerful witch on the planet. Alisa is ordered to leave not just the county but the entire country. If she steps her foot inside of Salem or the US again, she'll be killed. Joan packed her a bag, she gave her money, her passport and she booked a flight to New Zealand. They have family in New Zealand, so she's sent there. They've warned them to keep her away from Maori tribes in the effort to get her powers back, if she attempts it, they have full authority to burn her at the stake for the crimes of trying to kill her own. The family agree, they're disgusted with her. They don't agree that she should've been let off, she should've been burned in Salem.

The town is relieved, it's almost back to normal. The problem they have now is Lydia, she didn't want to see her at first, but she loves Alisa, she wants to join her in New Zealand, but the family won't allow it. They order her to file for separation today, Lydia hesitates at first, then Joan tells her that she won't be coming home, that if she doesn't leave it she'll see a pyre with her name on it too. Lydia and Joan head to city hall, they try for divorce of the marriage due to abandonment. The paperwork is filed they just have to wait and see if it comes through quickly. Joan doesn't want Lydia to jump on a flight to New Zealand and cause the death of her daughter. So Joan comes up with a plan, she wipes Lydia's memories of Alisa, it's the only way she knows that'll keep Alisa alive. Even though Alisa tried to burn every witch in Salem, she's still her daughter. Celeste is the only one from her family that completely cut ties. Celeste is very angry with her, the coven comes before family to Celeste, since Celeste got her powers back, witchcraft is her number one priority, the same for James, he is a new witch, but he has taken the craft more seriously than most witches. James finally has an active power, he has the power of premonition, he never thought he would've got one, but the ancestors must see potential in him or his lineage has witches in it, so Joan decides to do his family tree. Joan says this is a reason to celebrate, Celeste says they'll celebrate once her sister is properly punished. If this happened centuries ago, Alisa would've been tried by the covens and she would've been killed. This comment irks Joan, "that's your sister, Celeste." Celeste says, "mom, you begged and pleaded for me to come home for years as the coven came first as always, but baby sister threatens a witchy genocide and you send her off to family in New Zealand?" Joan responds by saying, "Celeste, I would do the same for you, I love you both so much, I can't risk her dying, her powers are gone, she's shunned, she knows if she steps one foot on US soil, she'll be killed, can we leave it at that?" Celeste tells her mom, that she will kill her herself if she attempts to retrieve her powers or returns. Joan agrees, saying, "if you can just let her live without family, see the error of her ways, then maybe just maybe, it won't come to that?" Celeste says, "for her sake and yours mom, I sincerely hope that's true. I do however know my sister and she's vindictive, none of what happened to her will make her stop." Joan is relieved, but she knows deep down that Celeste is right.

The family that took her in, bound her to the land they live on, she can't leave. They even have a pyre ready, in case she tries something. Alisa is missing only one person and it's the person she's betrayed the most, her wife. Alisa calls Lydia, Lydia answers the phone, "who's this?" Alisa says, "its me, it's Alisa, your wife. Have you forgotten my voice already? Aren't you missing me?" Lydia replies, "listen lady, I don't know of anyone named Alisa, you have the wrong number." Alisa has tears welling up in her eyes, she thinks that she's just pretending to not know her, she says things only Lydia would know. Lydia tells her, "you may know things personally about me, but like I said the first time, I genuinely have no idea who you are. I'm sorry." Alisa then realises that someone has wiped her memories of her, then it dawns on her that it may have been her mom, she has done it with boyfriends in the past. Alisa is going stir crazy, her family in New Zealand are from her mother's side, her mother's sister Anisé. Anisé has her working on the farm, from sunrise until sunset. It's the first time in Alisa's spoiled life, that she's ever had to do some hard graft, although not without complaint. Whining every moment about her chipped nails, her hair that's not seen a salon in a while. Anisé tells her, that if she works for a month without complaining, she will have a beauty therapist come to the farm and do her hair and nails. Alisa promises she will, Anisé knows full well that she won't. It's all a matter of time.
