I unlocked my bedroom door, when I came home I shouted up the stairs and their was no reply so I guessed I was home alone. I still didn't take the risk to not close the door when I was opening the packages. It took a few moments of deciding but in the end I chose the bigger one to open first. I slowly ripped open the black bin bag like wrapping, inside was a plastic see through bag with a white top inside, I turned the bag over to try and open it but there was a letter attacked, in a pink envilope adressed 'Ellie-Ann'. Mercedes was the only one who had ever called me Ann before, she use to call me it when I was younger, since she thought Ellie-Anna didn't roll off the tounge as nice as Ellie-Ann. I slid my finger under the flap and took out the note, it was hand written in printed capital letters.

Don't open the plastic bag, the police will hunt you down and you'll be the one getting arrested for murder, not the cunning sly person who actually did this to me. Hide it somewhere, not somewhere easy to find like on top of the wardrobe, that's the first place the police will look. Hide it in the bedroom, and futhur instructions on what to do will follow.

-Mercy.

I chucked the package onto my bed, it creeped me right out. Ew, if holding a top that belonged to my dead sister wasn't bad enough, it had her dried blood on from the day she died. It scared me and I my spine shivered. I picked up the smaller one, which was much tighter wrapped than the other one. I ripped off the celotape and held a small pink book in my hand. It was tied closed with a silver ribbon and another note attached. This one read.

This is the easy task, tuck this deep into my nicker draw for when someone finally decides to tidy out my things, this will surely get someone arrested. Whatever you do, don't read it before Nana, Porsche and Celine do or they're suspect you.
-Mercy.

That one seem easy but I really wanted to read what was inside, I quickly walked over and shoved it on the left side of her top draw, which was exactly where I was told to put it. I hunted around for a place to put the top. somewhere that wasn't on the shelf of my wardrobe.
"Ellie-Anna," Lockie shouted up the stairs, his footsteps were getting closer. I shoved the top quickly under neath Mercedes' pillow on her bed. Lockie opened the bedroom door and I quickly turned around.
"It's polite to knock," I muttered.
"You never knock when you come in my room," Lockie smirked.
"Fair enough," I smiled, walking back into my side of the room.
"So, what you doing on Mercedes' bed?" He curiously asked, walking around, touching things on the top of the cupboard and on the shelves.
"Closing the window, it was cold," I lied, since Mercy's bed was under the window.
"It seems pretty warm in here," Lockie inwardly smiled.
"Maybe that's because you've still got your coat on," I laughed, noticing the notes from the packages still laying on my bed. Lockie was facing the bed but looking at the photos I had stuck up on the bedroom wall. I slowly walked over, trying not to make it look like I wasn't doing anything. I then quickly grabbed both the notes and crumpled then up.
"What was that?" He asked, looking down at the notes in the bin.
"Receipts for shopping the other day," I laughed, walking out the bedroom hoping he would follow. And he did. My phone received a text and I opened it while I was walking down the stairs.

That top, it's evidence. Your next job is too plant that in Freddie's house and oh yeah, remember that knife? That needs to be hidden with it.
-Mercy.

I locked my phone so the screen was black since Lockie was walking straight behind me and I didn't want anyone seeing what I was doing. I walked into the kitchen and took a seat at the table.
"Want a cup of tea?" Lockie asked.
"If you're making," I smiled and he reached into the cupboard for another cup. My phone buzzed again.

Now, Ellie-Anna. Or else Mercedes will be meeting you again, sooner than you thought.
-Mercy.

"Actually, thanks but I've got to be somewhere," I told him, before standing up and running up the stairs. I grabbed my bag which had the packages in before I opened them and grabbed the shirt from under the pillow and shoved it back in my bag. I pulled all the things from the top of my wardrobe and grabbed the knife, shoving that in the bag aswell. My phone rang again and I quickly opened it.

Hurry up, the clock is ticking. They're not even home but the doors unlocked.
-Mercy.

Gloves. I needed gloves, they wouldn't leave my DNA all over the things that I was planting. I ran across the landing into Nana's bedroom, the only time she had the door open was at night and she was quite strict about people snooping around her bedroom. Nana had the biggest bedroom in the house which had a on suite bathroom. I opened that door, it was small but I wish I had an on suite bathroom even if it was small. Nana used hair dye and she had hundreds of pairs of plastic gloves stashed away in her sink cupboard. I picked out a pair and shoved them in my pockets.
"Ellie-Anna, what are you doing?" Lockie shouted and I slammed both doors closed and picked up my bag.
"Yeah, tell Nana I'll be back for tea," I shouted down the stairs, closing the front door behind me. I could get arrested for what I was about to do.
