important information

Hello everyone! Thank you for reading this story, it really means a lot. I mentioned at the end of the last chapter that I will go by a different schedule instead of uploading once every 4 days because that would make it easier for me. I will start doing weekly updates as of today. For now I'll update each Saturday, but if you wish for me to update some other day then I'm fine with changing it.

If I personally feel like the chapter will turn out quite short I might post an extra chapter, but we'll see. For now I'm gonna test this out. I think the time zone I'm in is (CET), if that matters any.

Also, like I mentioned in the previous chapter, seeing people vote and commenting really makes me day, so thank all of you for that, and here's a hug!!! ^^

I also have a question, would you like for me to add the word count at the top of the chapter or at the end? (I currently have it at the end).

Now without further ado, I hope you enjoy this chapter, (sorry it's a short one).

Mutual feelings

Kei had decided, this, this was the day he would confess to Shoyo, who he had a crush on since a while back. He was currently walking to his blind friend's house, having decided to hang out today after Kei had asked him about it earlier in the week. Each step was nerve wracking as he took step after step, getting closer and closer to his crush's house.

Once the house was within sight he stopped for a moment, taking a few deep breaths before he walked forward, slowly. 'Calm down Kei, calm down, it's just a confession, how hard can it be?' he thought as he reached the door, knocking gently, having a feeling the ginger haired boy was already waiting on the other side.

He was right, as the door opened right away as soon as his hand was back at his side. "Hi Kei!" Shoyo exclaimed, happy to see him as he put on his shoes, stepping outside the house and standing in front of him, already prepared to go. Kei chuckled a little as he looked at him, seeing his excitement. Then he silently and gently grabbed his hand before he moved away from the door.

"Let's go Shoyo" he said as the shorter of the two smiled happily and nodded, squeezing Kei's hand back as they headed towards the café they had planned to go to. It didn't take more than 15 minutes to reach the café, Kei feeling a little bummed since he had no reason to hold Shoyo's hand while they were sitting at the table in the café.

Still, the wide grin on Shoyo's face as they entered the café made it more than worth it as they stepped up to the counter, Kei telling Shoyo what was on the menu, before ordering and heading to a table. They talked calmly as they waited for their order to arrive, both enjoying the silent and calm atmosphere radiating from the café.

Once the things they ordered arrived they paid and ate in silence, Shoyo whistling from time to time, Kei helping out so that he could eat easier. At first Shoyo was surprised but quickly smiled and giggled as he thanked him, happy for the assistance. "Thanks Kei!"

Kei smiled at him saying "you're welcome" before they both focused on eating and occasionally whistling, pretty much taking turns. Shoyo kept giggling as he found the situation funny, and he was happy to be spending time with Kei who he had a secret crush on. Although he was sure Kei probably didn't feel the same.

When the two finished eating they left the café hand in hand, walking down the street, eventually ending up at the secluded park once again. Kei smiled, finding the spot perfect for what he was about to do, so he gently tugged Shoyo along, making his way through the park, stopping in the middle, surrounded by flowers, trees and all kinds of different plants.

Shoyo couldn't see his surroundings, but he could recognize the general structure of the place, and the familiar scent of flowers. "Is this the same place as last time we went out on a walk Kei?" Shoyo asked curiously as he looked at the taller of the two, his face leaning to the side. Kei found him utterly adorable and flushed red before he placed his hand over his mouth, after confirming his question that this was indeed the same place as last time.

Shoyo smiled, "I thought so!" then giggled happily as he looked away from Kei, turning his face up towards the sun just like the last time they were there. Kei looked at him quietly, adoring him, while his chest felt warm and giddy. After looking at him for a while he decided to speak up, breaking the comfortable silence that was hanging over the two.

"Shoyo?" he said as he looked at him with a nervous expression. "Yes?" was all Shoyo responded as he looked at Kei, a smile on his lips and his eyes opened wide, his expression screaming 'I'm curious!' as he unknowingly made eye contact with Kei, making him even more nervous.

Kei squeezed his eyes shut taking a deep breath before opening them again and facing his crush 'you can do this Kei, just like you rehearsed' he thought as he grabbed Shoyo's other hand as well, now holding both of his hands tightly as he spoke once more "Hinata Shoyo.." he began, swallowing loudly. Shoyo, now intrigued, leaned his head to the side as he faced the other boy.

"I.. I like you! Please go out with me!" Kei then quickly shouted, wanting to get it off his chest before he chickened out. He had been fully expecting Shoyo to deny him, telling him he didn't return his feelings, but no such thing happened, instead Shoyo was smiling brightly with tears in his eyes as he nodded, "I like you too Kei!"

"Re-really?" Kei voiced out, not believing his ears as he looked at Shoyo. "Really!" he responded happily, hugging Kei. "Does that mean we're together now?" The taller of the two voiced out, still unable to believe the shorter actually liked him back. "Of course!" was all he said in response as he hugged the taller tighter.

Kei eventually snapped out of his 'is this real' moment and hugged Shoyo back tightly, smiling like an idiot, and he knew if the team were to see him right now he wouldn't hear the end of it, but in the end, whether the team would see him right now or not didn't matter, for he was happy, happy as he hugged the boy he liked.
