Bonus chapter

What happened when they left Shoyo and Kei alone outside:

Once Yama and Kenma got inside they shared a look, silently asking each other "what should we do" before they both turned away shyly. After a short silence Yama spoke up, "shall we go for a walk?" with a nervous smile as he glanced at the pudding haired boy. "Sure" was all Kenma responded quietly before the two began walking, both feeling strangely nervous as they made their way down the hall together.

Some tiny changes could also be seen at the camp if you paid enough attention, which a certain orange haired boy did. These tiny changes were the interactions between a certain freckled boy and a pudding haired boy that were part of different teams. Shoyo hadn't noticed on purpose, it was more of an "accidental discovery" that took place gradually over the days.

Shoyo, who relied on his ears to see, had noticed the two teens quietly sneak off every now and then, and could be 'seen' talking quite a bit with each other whenever they had a chance. Once you took notice of it, it was hard to miss their short interactions with each other, sounding dejected every time they had to part.

Shoyo grinned from ear to ear, deciding to help the two a little, giving them a small "push" so to speak. He decided to start with Yama, who would be easier to catch alone so they could talk in private.

Yama

"Hey Yama" Shoyo called out once they were finally alone "Huh, Shoyo? What is it?" Shoyo only grinned as he walked closer to where Yama's silhouette was, quietly voicing "you have a crush huh?" his grin widening, and his expression turning slightly smug as Yama started stuttering quickly, blushing profusely as Shoyo laughed. Despite not seeing he could easily tell Yama was extremely flustered.

"So I was right" he then added, his grin now a lot more happy in comparison to the earlier, more teasing grin he had had. "Bulls-eye" Yama voiced out quietly as he turned around, burying his face in his legs silently, listening as Shoyo sat down next to him with a small smile, "wanna talk about it?"

For a moment Yama looked up surprised, not expecting him to ask that. He contemplated for a moment before nodding, deciding that talking about it might be a good idea, especially knowing him and Kenma were close. Shoyo was just looking in his direction, quietly, waiting for a response, not knowing the other had nodded.

It took a while before Yama realized his mistake and stammered once more "ah! Sorry Shoyo, I nodded..." Shoyo, blinking a few times, grinned widely as he laughed, finding the situation hilarious while Yama just blushed. "Do you have to laugh so much?" was all the other boy said as the sunshine tried to stop, still giggling a bit as he looked in the general direction Yama was in. "Sorry, sorry" was all he said before waiting for Yama to speak.

Yama, taking a deep breath, began asking for advice over what he should do, saying he thinks he likes Kenma but isn't sure, and how to tell whether you actually like someone or not. Shoyo had a kind grin as he talked with Yama, asking questions to "confirm" whether he indeed has feelings for Kenma, which, lo and behold, he has.

Once they were done talking, Shoyo, having given advice and encouragement, left, leaving Yama behind so he could have some time to think alone. 'Next one' was all Shoyo thought as he made his way to where Kenma was most likely to be.

Kenma

Soon Shoyo reached Nekomas' sleeping quarters, knocking on the door, whistling quietly while hoping Kenma would be the one to open the door. Luckily for him it was, "Shoyo? What's up?" was all he said as he looked at his friend questioningly, Shoyo smiling a little before asking "are you alone?" At this point Kenma looked more skeptical than anything else as he told him "yeah I am."

"May I come in?" Shoyo then said quickly with a wide smile, Kenma letting him inside before closing the door and leading Shoyo to where his sleeping bag was, the two of them sitting down. "So? What do you want?" was all Kenma said, to which Shoyo grinned wide. "Straight to the point huh?" earning a quick, confused "eh?" from his friend before he said almost the same thing he had done to Yama earlier.

"You have a crush don't you?" his grin now impossibly wide as Kenma turned into a tomato, stammering out a quiet "what are you talking about?" "You know what I'm talking about Kenma, don't even try" was all the ginger said, looking at his friend smugly. Kenma sighed quietly as he realized his blind friend wouldn't give up on this one.

"So? What if I do?" he said eventually, glancing at his friend who now had a kind smile on his face. "Wanna talk about it?" his blind friend then asked the same question he had asked Yama earlier. Kenma was quiet for a while, looking at his friend who only smiled, showing nothing but kindness.

Eventually he sighed, turning around, voicing a quiet "what do I do?" before he looked back at Shoyo, hoping he could magically make it so that the feelings he had for the green haired boy would be mutual. Shoyo's smile widened, "it's easy actually" he then began, pausing a bit as he heard shuffling beside him, realizing Kenma had shuffled closer in anticipation. After a moment he continued, "you just have to confess."

It was quiet for a moment, Kenma taking a while to register the words his blind friend had just spoken. "What do you mean just confess, what if he doesn't feel the same way? What if he stops wanting to be my friend all together because of these feelings I hold?" Kenma began feeling slightly agitated, not at Shoyo, but at himself for not acting like himself.

"Trust me Kenma, if you confess, all your troubles will be solved, think about it okay?" Shoyo said before whistling, putting a hand on his shoulder and squeezing before giving a thumbs up. Once done he headed to the door, stopping momentarily as he waited for Kenma to speak, knowing he had something to say.

"I'll think about it... Thanks Shoyo" with those words, Shoyo left happily after a quick "you're welcome." As he whistled and walked back to where Kei was most likely to be, he couldn't help but think, 'they suit each other' with a quiet giggle.

The next day, a few changes had once more occurred at the camp, that change being Yamaguchi and Kenma's attempts at subtle displays of affections to each other. These attempts were, of course, not successful as almost everyone could 'see' them plain as day. 'I was right, they do suit each other' Shoyo then thought with a wide grin, the new couple sneaking shy glances at each other as they held hands, their fingers interlocked.
