An exciting day out

"Shoyo, you okay over there?" Kei asked as his boyfriend yawned loudly, wiping the tears that were forming at the corner of his eyes. "I'm okaaaaay" Shoyo replied, another yawn escaping his lips as he stretched, walking forward aimlessly before slumping down on the bed tiredly with a small "thump". A chuckle escaped the taller's lips as he watched the tired tangerine who was sprawled across the bed lazily.

Without a word, Kei walked up to him and just like the previous day, picked Shoyo up. The difference this time was that Shoyo was awake and aware of what was happening. With a tiny welp, his hands quickly went to Kei's chest, clasping on tightly to his shirt thinking he could fall any moment.

It wasn't until Kei cleared his throat awkwardly that Shoyo could feel his face heat up in embarrassment. In moments he became a stuttering mess and was facing in any direction but at Kei. After a while, Shoyo was placed back down on the bed, this time more to the side, saving him the trouble of moving there.

Satisfied, Kei went to his side of the bed and crawled under the covers, Shoyo soon following as he buried himself under the cosy covers. The two were simply silent for a while, only the words "goodnight" being shared between them before silence once more greeted them. Eventually, Kei felt a slight tug on his shirt, at first surprising him but a small smile quickly replaced it as he draped his arms around the small tangerine.

And just like that, the two fell asleep, only their quiet breathing echoing through the room as the night went on. Both boys feeling safe and warm in the comfort of each other's arms.

Once morning arrived, the two boys awkwardly changed as the silence hung heavy in the air, feeling strangely embarrassed as they got ready to leave for breakfast now that their minds were clear after a good night's sleep. However, it didn't take long before the awkward air had disappeared as they excitedly left the room, ready to tackle another day in Tokyo.

As soon as they reached the lobby, Natsu quickly ran up to the two, grabbing their hands and just like the day before, dragging them with her to the cafeteria. Chuckles were shared as they walked and breakfast passed peacefully, excitement oozing from the group.

The day passed by quickly as the group explored the streets of Tokyo, entering shops that caught their interest and eating delicious food to their heart's content. Most excited was Natsu who found everything to be like a fun treasure hunt on a big playing ground. The balls of her feet were bouncing the entire day as she kept her hands firmly clasped onto her older brother and Kei who simply smiled happily.

Hours went by quickly and it was now time for the group to split up. Natsu was reluctant but eventually agreed knowing her brother wanted to spend some time alone with Kei and knowing how the next day would be spent with everyone together before they head home. After some hugs and sharing of plans, the group split, Shoyo and Kei heading to the park while Amami, Haruki and Natsu went deeper into the shopping district.

The peaceful sound of birds singing boosted the boys' steps as they walked holding hands through the forestry park and talking quietly with one another. Their voices were light and their faces bright as they laughed happily. After a while, the two sat down on one of the park benches, relaxing for a while as they talked about the trip so far.

Eventually, the two stood up, walking hand in hand out of the park and into a shopping district that was opposite of the one from earlier. The roads were crammed with food stalls, the smell of food bringing growls to their now hungry stomachs. Without a word the two of them silently agreed that it was time to eat something and headed closer to the food stalls, Kei telling Shoyo what it was after he tried guessing the food based on the smell.

Eventually the two of them decided to get Yakitori. Kei chose one with pork whilst Shoyo went for one with chicken. After getting their food and paying, the two headed to a nearby bench, sitting down before happily munching on their food. Of course, sharing was done, and the two ended up eating half from each Yakitori.

Once they were done, the two stood up once more, walking down the street whilst talking, trying hard to hear each other over the loud sounds of the crowded street. As soon as they had passed all the food stalls and entered a street with fewer stalls, both let out a sigh of relief, sharing a tiny laugh. Eventually as they kept walking, the two arrived at a shopping district.

The shopping district had many stores and Kei was determined to tell Shoyo about what was in each store so that if there was anything Shoyo might be interested in, the two could head inside. Shoyo giggled at the excited Kei as he happily listened to him ramble on about every store he could see in the distance.

A few stores caught their interest, but the most memorable one was a clothing store that Shoyo had insisted on entering. As soon as the two got inside, Shoyo had requested for Kei to pick out some clothes for him, wanting to wear something his boyfriend picked for him. A few chuckles and knowing grins could be seen on the staff's faces as a blush spread across Kei's face before he began picking out some clothes for his adorable sunshine in earnest.

Eventually the sun had fallen low in the distance and the sky was painted a gentle pink. Despite the time, neither of the boys showed any intention of heading back to the hotel. Instead, Kei sent a message to Shoyo's parents, informing them the two would keep looking around and eat dinner out. After receiving an "okay, have fun" response, the two gleefully enjoyed the rest of the day side by side in Tokyo.

In the evening, the two returned momentarily to the hotel in order to wish Shoyo's younger sister goodnight, seeing as the two planned on spending more time outside later. Upon returning, Natsu had shoved a medium sized dinosaur plushie against Kei with a grin. As Kei looked at her confused, Natsu's grin had widened and her response made the rest snicker. "This is for you Kei nii-chan! Nii-chan told me you really really like dinosaurs!"

Shoyo couldn't take it and eventually burst out laughing as his sister stood proudly in the hotel lobby, having announced loudly and clearly how much his stoic boyfriend liked dinosaurs. Their parents could be seen off to the side recording as they too snickered, enjoying the situation far too much as Kei's face flushed red as a tomato.

It took a while, but at some point a small sigh left his lips as he accepted the plushie, muttering a quiet "thank you" to which Natsu loudly responded with "you're welcome". Once the incident was over, the group split up, wishing each other goodnight before heading to their rooms. Sho and Kei only went back in order to leave the plushie from Natsu before once more heading back out, taking a leisure walk hand in hand.
