Arrival

Once they had reached Tokyo, they had made their way to the hotel, checking in quickly before splitting up. Shoyo and Kei would share a room while Shoyo's parents would share one with Natsu. As soon as they had left the car, Natsu had excitedly bounced on the balls of her feet, the excitement of the days to come being clear in her wide smile and bright eyes.

Kei, upon realizing they would have a separate room, had blushed profusely, feeling embarrassed over the thought of sharing a hotel room. Shoyo, on the other hand, was totally cool with it, grinning widely as they got their stuff settled. "Kei! Let's meet the others!" Shoyo exclaimed happily, bouncing up and down at the spot as he grabbed Kei's arm, swinging it back and forth quickly.

With a small, exasperated smile, Kei responded, taking hold of Shoyo's hand as the two walked out, heading to the hotel reception area to meet up with his parents and little sister. As soon as they got there, Natsu ran towards Shoyo, tackling him to the ground with a grin. "Nii-tan! Let's explore Tokyo!" she then half-shouted with a giggle, earning a chuckle from the rest of the group.

Kei, seeing their position and location, eventually shook his head, picking up Natsu from Shoyo and setting her down with her feet on the ground before assisting Shoyo with getting up. After this little interaction, Natsu could be seen staring at Kei's shoulders, her eyes sparkling a little. "Natsu, it's too late to explore Tokyo today, but we can explore the hotel and the surroundings, how does that sound?" At Shoyo's words, Natsu pouted a little but agreed, on the condition that Kei and Shoyo had to hold her hands, no exceptions.

Natsu's condition for listening brought a smile to them all and made the group laugh. "Of course, that's a promise!" Shoyo said in response, holding out his hand in Natsu's direction. With a grin she grabbed it before turning to the side, clasping Kei's hand in hers before skipping happily and dragging two teens with her. Amami and Haruki could only laugh as they watched the scene, while taking a few pictures in secret- not so secret of the three holding hands.

For an hour and a half, the family explored the entire hotel, Natsu being more excited than usual as she dragged around her brother and his boyfriend on her whims. Their first mission before exploring had been to eat in the hotel restaurant before it closed, which they had an hour to do. Kei had broken down laughing seeing Natsu stuff her cheeks like a squirrel without chewing, claiming she would "bring her earnings back to the room."

The one to put a stop to that mess was Shoyo, who told her that if she wished to explore the hotel, she would have to eat properly, including chewing her food before swallowing. Seeing as she couldn't even pout at the words due to the overwhelming amount of food she had already stuffed in her cheeks made Kei laugh more. Eventually, with a slight bit of disappointment, she was eating properly, making sure to both chew and swallow her food rather than keep it in her cheeks for later.

Despite the disappointment she had initially felt, she became happy again once Shoyo praised her for eating well, patting her head gently with a smile. After that she kept eating happily, swinging her legs back and forth as she enjoyed the food. After the dinner and exploration 2 and a half hours had already passed, leaving the grown-ups in the group exhausted seeing as they had driven them here along with packing and planning everything out before leaving.

In other words, Haruki and Amami were in dire need of some sleep which signaled the end of the first day in Tokyo for the group. Except Kei and Shoyo of course. Once the group had split up after bidding each other goodnight, the two teens headed quietly to their room. The silence was welcomed as it brought a warm lull in the empty hotel hall.

When the room was in sight Kei spoke up, "are you the one who suggested we share a room?" He had been wondering since earlier, brimming with curiosity, but out of sheer nervousness he had kept quiet. With a grin Shoyo shook his head, "my dad suggested it, then my mom booked the rooms before asking my opinion." His grin widened as he turned to Kei, "of course if I had been able to voice my opinion about it, I would have asked for us to have a separate room than my family, so it worked out."

Shoyo's grin turned impossibly wide, feeling the ever so slightly sweaty palm of Kei tightening his grip around his hand. "Is that so?" He then mumbled, Shoyo giggling lightly before replying "that is so." The two had reached their room and gone inside, releasing each other's hands as they both sat down on the large bed.

For a while they stayed silent, neither one speaking up to break it. Eventually Shoyo giggled, startling Kei before he too joined in, chuckling a little. "We're so awkward!" Shoyo then exclaimed, letting his body fall back against the bed, his feet still touching the floor. Kei, smiling gently, joined him, his body falling back before looking at the ceiling, glancing at the sunshine every so often.

After a while, soft and steady breathing could be heard next to Kei, the sunshine having fallen asleep. With a smile Kei sat up again, moving to the head of the bed to move the blankets before heading back to Shoyo. Trying his best not to wake the tangerine, he lifted him up gently, placing him down properly on the bed, his head on the pillow. Once done he covered him with the blanket, tucking him in.

"Goodnight sunshine" he then mumbled quietly before making his way to the other side of the bed, crawling onto the bed under the blanket before joining his boyfriend in the dream world.

Once morning rolled around, the two of them were well rested. Shoyo, unsurprisingly, woke up first, stretching with a yawn as he remembered the previous day, a smile quickly spreading across his features. Whistling quietly he looked at the sleeping figure next to him. After a moment he hesitantly reached out, placing a hand on the other's head, stroking his hair slowly.

The room was silent and peaceful, a streak of light peeking in through the white curtains. Eventually Kei woke up with a stir, sitting up slowly as Shoyo retracted his hand. "Good morning" he then said with a yawn and just like Shoyo had done earlier Kei stretched, waking up his tired limbs. "Good morning Kei" Shoyo replied with a small smile before whistling quietly as he headed off to change his clothes.

After the two of them were finished changing and getting ready, they both headed out into the hall. Silently, Kei grabbed Shoyo's hand before walking down the empty hallway, both smiling shyly as they headed down to the reception area where Shoyo's parents and little sister were already waiting. Much like the previous day, Natsu was bouncing excitedly on the balls of her feet, the only difference being the wide grin directed at the two boys who were walking hand in hand.

Once they got closer she ran up to them, grabbing Shoyo's hand before dragging the two to the hotel restaurant in order to eat breakfast. Amami and Haruki shared a glance before chuckling, silently grabbing hold of each other's hand and heading after the kids, smiling widely. They quickly found a table in the corner of the room and headed to get some food, Kei helping Shoyo before getting his own food.

After that they all ate happily, going over the plans of the day before happily chatting away, though the one talking the most was Natsu, who's excitement was through the roof. With great excitement breakfast came to an end and they began heading to the car, Amami driving this time while Haruki acted as a GPS, guiding them to the right place.

After a short drive through Tokyo with three excited kids in the back, they finally arrived at their destination...
