Reaching Ant's childhood house, both the boys sat in the car for a few seconds, dreading to face the family. It was Dec who first moved, taking in a deep breath and opening his door indicating Ant to open his as well. As they stepped out they were welcomed by an excited Sarha who literally jumped on Dec to hug him tight.

Sarha: "I am so happy you came! Nana will be over the moon, thank you..."

Dec returned her hug and smiles as she left him to launch herself at Ant. As Dec turned, Sarha gives Ant a questioning look, who shakes his head defeated.

Sarha: "It will be okay" she whispers only for him and pulls them inside while James went to fetch their luggage.

Ant: "Why isn't the house decorated? Her birthday is tomorrow!"

Sarha: "Oh, we were waiting for you guys to reach! Everyone's here!"

Ant shares a concerned glance with Dec before stopping Sarha to ask "Who else knows...about...us?"

Sarha: "Just me and Stevie, but...I think Ellie suspects something and if she does, she would have shared it with Gus"

Dec: "We don't want anybody to know..."

Sarha: "We are not strangers Dec..."

Dec: "Sweetie, that's not what I-"

"Oh, here they are, finally...."

Dec turns around to see nana walking to then and a huge stab of guilt passes through his chest.

Dec: "Nana..."

Nana smiles at him and wraps him in a tight hug while Dec held on to her, not wanting to let go of that unconditional acceptance she has provided for him.

Ant's mother also reaches them and Dec passes nana to Ant so that Christine could hug him.

Christine: "Disappearing like that last time, you both gave us enough distress. We were worried something was wrong"

Dec felt his throat closing at the while Ant answered, returning her hug "It was an urgent meeting mam, nothing else"

Nana: "How's your dad, Declan?" she asks him, making him weak on his knees with overwhelming remorse

Why is she so nice to me?

Ant: "The surgery went well, nana. He will be home in a week's time"

Christine: "Thank God for that"

Nana: "I understand that you never told them about your engagement. I am sorry I revealed it to your mother when she called us"

Dec: "That's okay, nana. We have explained everything to them"

Christine: "And everything is alright with them?"

Dec: "They are happy for us.."

Nana: "That's what we all need to hear, now come on...I have made some special cookies.."

Dec: "Cookies?!" He gasps, making Ant roll his eyes.

Ant: "Lo behold, the mighty mouse"

Dec puts his tongue out that and follows nana to the kitchen while Christine lingered back with Ant

Christine: "Ant, is everything fine with Dec's family?"

Ant nods "Yeah, they are honestly very happy for us"

Christine: "That's good. So, have you decided... you know any dates as to when-"

Sarha: "They just got engaged mam, one thing at a time. Now we need to focus on nana's birthday and there are a lot of things to do. Come on, Ant"
