Night has already fallen when Dec woke up groggy and sleepy and squints his eyes to see his boyfriend above him, looking at him with an affectionate smile.

Dec: "Hey..."

Ant: "Hello...wake up. Dinner is here and you have your tablets to take"

Dec blinks at him and lays back again but Ant tuts

Ant: "Up"

Dec: "Ant..." He whines

Ant: "You have your tablets to take. So no excuses. Now come on...up"

Dec sits up pouting but grins as Ant gives him a peck.

Ant: "Silly"

They have their dinner and Dec takes his medicine. As they lie down to sleep with Dec cuddled to Ant's chest, he couldn't help but think about what all happened that day. Ant's fingers on his hair combed his brown tresses gently and lovingly, but Dec could sense a bit of apology in it. And he doesn't want it. He doesn't want Ant to feel guilty or insecure about anything.

Dec: "I am happy you talked to me, you know?" He says slowly

Ant hugs him tight and kisses his hair

Ant: "You are just saying that"

Dec: "No, I am not. I love you, Ant and I want you to tell me everything. You promised me you will, didn't you?"

Ant sighs into Dec's hair and then smiles "I love you"

Dec's heart flutters at how Ant is blurting it out like that.

Dec: "I am the happiest I have ever been, Ant..."

Ant: "We should have done this earlier right? I should have planned this long ago"

Dec: "It's not the trip. It's you... I love you too"

Ant grins at that and Dec's heart flutters, as the broken face of Ant is still etched on his mind. He should never cry again...he deserves every happiness in this world.

Ant: "What happened?"

Dec: "What?"

Ant: "You were lost in thoughts"

Dec blushes and snuggles closer to him "What are we doing tomorrow?"

Ant: "Either we can spend the whole day just cuddling like this on the bed...or..."

Dec: "Let's do that"

Ant: "You didn't hear the rest"

Dec: "Don't need to"

Ant: "Two more days and we are out of here. Any place you want to visit?"

Dec hesitates for a second and then asks quietly "Can we go to a church?"

Ant wasn't that surprised by that question "Catholic?"

Dec: "Any will do"

Ant: "Okay"

Dec just nods

Ant: "Baby you alright?"

Dec: "I am. I haven't been to a church for years"

Ant: "Okay"

Dec: "Goodnight Ant"

Ant: "Goodnight love"
