Ant didn't know when he fell asleep but he woke up hearing a quiet whimper from his chest. He first thought that Dec must be cold and pulled the sheets on both of them and leant a bit closer to the headboard. Even if the position was not too comfortable for Ant, he knew Dec will get cramps if he doesn't change the position. Dec was still shaking and whimpering, his closed eyes twitching frantically. Ant looks at him concerned
Is he having a nightmare?...oh Dec, what is that's troubling you this much? What are the things you are still hiding from me? What all have you gone through to be here...

He holds Dec closer and calls his name,  slowly lifting his shirt to trace smooth soothing patterns on his hips and arms, trying to pull Dec out of the dream. It must have been felt too cliche and cheesy. But Ant has long ago realised how much Dec loves cheesiness. And as predicted, the frown on Dec's face changes to content and a very small but nevertheless a smile grows on his face. Ant's heart somersaulted in his chest and warmth spreads through him as he heard a small, cute and affectionate "Anth..." from Dec.

Ant knew he is asleep and he keeps his hands on Dec's warm skin aware that Dec likes when he does that. He had seen how much Dec craved for affection even when he was just a customer. He still remembers the first time his eyes have fallen on Dec.

It's been too long since he had a relationship and was drinking a bad day down from a shabby bar where he will not be spotted by anyone he knows. He suddenly hears someone shouting and his eyes fall on a brown-haired, cute and petite man with his eyes down and head hung, hearing a mouthful from some pathetic drunk. Ant has watched how that face changed to one of fear as the manager came in and then to distress as the manager started berating the smaller man and threatening to cut his month's salary. Those beautiful eyes were looking everywhere but the manager and then it had fallen on Ant's. Ant had given him a smile and watched as a small smile tugged the other man's lips... That was when Ant realised how beautiful that man is. Yes, beautiful...not sexy, not hot, not handsome but more than that...it wasn't that petite form that caught Ant's attention. Everything about that man was worth drooling over and that was what Ant did for the rest of the night while the smaller form waltzed around the pub, a polite smile on his face. And his eye had stuck on Dec since then...only on Dec...and no one else.

And then Ant has called him. Just like that. There wasn't any thought but the drinks must have guided him..or must have given the courage to do so. Because once he reached him and asked him what more he needs, Ant just uttered one word "You..." And then he had read the tag on the man's tag  "I need you...Dec?"

Dec has just giggles at that. And it had made Ant's heart go crazy..it still does. And then Dec has asked whether he wants him for an hour or a night...blimey...Ant had looked at him in shock. He had decided to test the waters first and asked for an hour. They left the pub straight away, causing the manager's eyes to widen with joy.

They reached Dec's house in Ant's car and Ant was happy that Patrick was on leave that day. Talk about things falling into places...

Once they reached Dec's house...Ant didn't really know what to do next. He was already quite drunk but was sensible enough to reject the drink Dec had offered him. They had just stood there staring at each other. And then Ant had placed his hands on either side of Dec's face....pulled him and kissed him gently. And when Dec returned it...Ant felt as if he is on fire...

Everything else happened in a blur. Every thought was shut off except...Dec...just Dec. Ant didn't know what he really felt about that night. Then or now. Once he came down from his high and turned around, Dec was half asleep with his head on Ant's chest. And Ant has done something he knew he should never do in a one-night stand. He has laid there just staring at Dec, for one more hour.
