Hello Brother

Ant woke up in the morning to see Dec cuddled to him, his face buried into the crook of his neck. Ant runs his hand through the smooth hairs and kisses them lovingly.

Ant:"Declan...Dec.."

Dec hums and shifts and bit, and then cuddles closer to Ant.

Dec: "Five more minutes"

Ant could see tear tracks still on Dec's face and wondered whether he has woken up during the night.

Ant: "Did you sleep well?"

Dec hesitates a bit and Ant sighs

Ant: "You didn't"

Dec: "Just dreams"

Ant: "Why didn't you wake me up?!"

Dec shakes his head "You were sleeping"

Ant: "Of course Declan! That's when you wake someone up!"

Dec: "It wasn't that bad"

Ant: "Yeah, I can see that. Look, next time something like this happens, you wake me up okay?"

Dec nods "'Kay"

Ant slowly strokes the hair fallen on Dec's forehead and sighs "You look so tired. I think you should take the day off"

Dec shakes his head at that "No..I am okay"

Ant: "You are not! It's okay to take a day-"

Dec: "No,it's...it's that I want to take my mind off things..."

Ant sighs "You can work from here and-"

Dec looks at him sheepishly "That's not what I meant. I don't want to be alone...it's better when with you"

Ant's heart expands with pride and a smug grin grows on his face. Dec blushes and cuddles closer.

Ant: "Okay, then. But.... You need to sleep. I will inform Ali that we will be late today"

Dec: "But-"

Ant: "Nope" He places his lips lovingly on Dec's and whispers "Please...sleep"

Dec smiles gratefully at that and nods. The moment he closes his eyes... sleep overtakes him...

Ant felt his heart fluttering at the adorable sight of Dec sleeping on him

Ant: "Always so stubborn, aren't you?" He asks affectionately, knowing so well that Dec can't hear him "I never did anything for anyone, Dec...but with you...I feel like I want to give you this whole world...I can't do that can I? But I will give you all happiness...and happiness alone...."

He hugs Dec closer feeling happy and content with the warm, soft body on him.

When they reached the office that morning, Dec felt an overwhelming urge to go back to sleep. Ali has given him a list of appointment requests and the files on the table towered over him. Ant giggles at Dec's awestruck expression.

Dec:"I was away for one day and this what I come back to?"

Ant: "Actually, three days. We took two days off, you remember?"

Dec sighs "Let's don't do that again"

Ant laughs as Dec checked the list in annoyance. He then sees him striking names and rewriting them somewhere else.

Ant: "What are you doing?"

Dec: "Eh? Just taking out the unimportant ones"
