Kaycee and I were sitting on one queen sized bed while Courtney and Leah were on the other. It was awkwardly silent and there was a tinge of anger in the atmosphere. Hell no - wait, not just a tinge, it was a whole lot of hatred.

I was the only one unpacking and the other three were sitting on their phones and giving death stares at each other. If looks could kill, this room would be filled with dead bodies.

I tried pulling Kaycee out of the bed to unpack.

"Get up!!" I groaned.

"Ughhh, I don't wanna!" She whined.

I stood in the middle of the two beds and clapped my hands to get some attention. "Okay guys, this isn't okay. We have to adjust because the teachers aren't gonna let us change rooms. If you don't stop this right now, the whole trip is going to be ruined and..."

They looked at me like I was a fool.

Well, I was a fool, wasn't I?

"You're right," Courtney said.

Wait... did I hear her right?

"We're moving out," she said.

"Say what?"

"Come on Leah, we're going to Rhea's room."

"Aren't there already four people? Leslie, Michelle, Sophie and Rhea?" Leah asked.

"Yeah, well we're gonna adjust."

"Hey, you can't just runaway from your problems," I said.

"I can... and I just did. So... toodles!"

And with that they left the room slamming the door hard.

Unfortunately... they were back in a few seconds.

"They don't want us to sleep there," Courtney said.

"Oh well... that's a bummer. It would have been so much better without you," I said.

Courtney made a face.

Then we heard a knock on the door.

"Who's that?" I asked Courtney.

"How the hell am I supposed to know?"

Kaycee opened the door. It was Max with Blake behind him.

"What do you want?" She asked Max.

"Um... well... we're kinda just inviting everyone to our room to like... um..."

Well that was a lot of fumbling...

"You can come to our room for a few hours. We're prolly gonna like play a few games and watch a movie or something," Blake interrupted.

"Room?"

"241."

With that they left and Kaycee came and crashed onto the bed again.

Courtney and Leah were obviously already getting ready by 'dressing up' and doing their 'make-up'. Kaycee looked at me as if asking if we were gonna go.

"Don't look at me like that! You decide!" I told her and she groaned.

"Oh what the hell, we have nothing else to do anyway," she said and got out of bed and walked to the bathroom.

I combed my hair, tied it properly and then laid on the bed browsing through memes while waiting for Kaycee.

Courtney and Leah finished and left while Kaycee and I waited for sometime cause we didn't wanna be early to make it awkward.
