That was the worst trip I had ever had.
I woke up in the morning feeling horrible that I hadn't fallen into a never ending sleep.
I quickly got ready for school, hating that it was a Monday, and went to say goodbye to my mom.
"Syd, about yesterday-" she started but I cut her off, "Mom, it really doesn't matter. If you're gonna try explaining yourself, it doesn't matter cause I think you can date whoever you want."
She was just as surprised at my words as I was.
"So you're okay with me dating?" She asked.
"Of course. But it's anyway not my place to give you permission or something," I said and she smiled.
"So that's why you let me go, huh?" I said and smirked.
"Oh shut up," she said laughing.
"Anyway, I'm going to school, so bye," I said and headed to the front door.
"Bye!"
I rode my motorcycle to school.
The classes went by quickly and lunch was just plain normal and boring. I had managed to be a depressed soul for a whole damn day.
When I went for Basketball practice, I was in absolutely no mood to play but I obviously couldn't just ditch it being the kind of person who never bunks classes. I had gotten along with most of the team and they had finally accepted me as a player.
We did our usual warm up and Lupe and Leslie started picking teams.
I had moved up in the order. During the first week I was usually picked last but now I had managed to beat Claire, Mia and Lupe (the 'not so great' players in the team) in the list.
