I know I've only known these guys for a month now, but hey, they were nice people and I trust them. I mean, what's the worst that could happen?
I hadn't given up. I went back home and asked my mom if I could go. The most surprising thing was that she finally allowed me after I convinced her that I'd study properly and get high grades. It's a lot of pressure but, I guess I could handle it.
"Syddie, I changed my mind. You can go tomorrow only if you promise to actually get good grades and not fool around with your life," mom said when I was back home at nine.
Who knows what made her change her mind, but... who cares? I was allowed to go! I couldn't wait.
I checked my Messages and saw that I had been added to a group. Kaycee, Leah and Me. I messaged both of them that I was allowed to join them on the road trip and Leah saw the message immediately.
