• The story plays 75 years after the last canon episode (8th season of Winx Club)
-> Fairies are aging 2 times slower than an average human, the Winx are 100 something years old but that means they're in their 50ies/60ies, their kids are young/middle-aged adults
• Charmix is earned by overcoming inner turmoil/vulnerability in a stressful situation -> it isn't necessary for a fairy to earn it but it can come in handy for a few classes
• In this story I will refer to Aisha/Layla as Layla!
• There are a few facts which makes this story an AU, for example: Nabu is still alive thanks to a later revealed fantransformation, Layla brought him back to life right after we see him being struck in season 4 ep 24
• Alfea in my story is a college/university for aspiring transformational fairies, meaning students have to apply and be accepted, the age is somewhere between 18 and 30 years, not older nor younger -> I imagine fairies/non fairies going to usual elementary school up until high school and then if desired they can go and get their powers trained in one of the schools in either Alfea or their own home planet if there is a school like Alfea/Red Fountain/Cloud Tower
• Hence princes/princesses are very common in Alfea because it's mandatory for fairy-soon-to-be-queens and kings to attend this school to properly be taught about their abilities and other things they need to know as an heir with magical powers
• Magic Winx (the first transformation) in my story is simply called "(magic) wings", as in you meet a fairy and want to know if they have already transformed once and are able to do so, one would ask "Did you get your wings yet?"
• Magic is channeled in 3 different ways: Fairies channel positive energy/magic, witches channel dark/negative energy/magic and warlocks/sorcerer and sorceress (usually found in schools similar to Red Fountain) are channeling neutral energy/magic
I might add more to this when there are other facts that don't add up but for now this is it!
