The bathroom door opened and another fairy was done getting prepared for the ball. Minu pushed her hair over her shoulder, looking at Alora. "Alora? Aren't you getting ready?"
That said Cécilia stumbled out of their bedroom to look at the blue haired fairy. "Alora??"
"I might check if there are last minute things I have to fix." Alora defended herself and Cécilia held her back by grabbing her hand. "Nononono. You're not going anywhere. I'm sure if they needed your help, they would've called you by now." Alora just sighed in defeat and followed Cécilia into their room.

"Ladies," Cécilia exclaimed proudly. "we're looking DASHING, if I may say. And I find it so brave for you to just buy the dress you loved so much. And looks like to fixed the weird lace problem."
Minu shyly fidgeted with the skirt part of her fit. "I just haven't found anything else...so...so I just went with it." Treasa patted the back of her shoulder. "I think it was the most perfect dress you put on and Cécilia has no idea what she talked about."
"Excuse me w-"
"Alright! Let's get downstairs!" Alora pushed Cécilia softly out of the door and Minu and Treasa promptly followed.
Alfea was already a lot fuller than usual. The ball was supposed to start at 7pm, but of course some came just a little earlier.
"I haven't seen so many people in Alfea before, even at the intro from Miss Florence." Minu looked around nervously and Treasa assured her. "When you're panicky again," Treasa winked, "just tell me and we leave, like the other day." Minu nodded and all of them reached the ball room. The air was chatty and louder than usual, soft music playing in the background.
"Wow, now in this atmosphere your decoration skills are even more beautiful!" Treasa awed at the decorations that were present all over the school and Alora chuckled. "I just hung it up with another fairy. Blanche with her flowery powers produced all the magic. It's so wintery, right? Magical."
They all nodded and walked down the few stairs, Treasa checked her metal hand cuffs that also served as a clock casually. "Florence will hold a speech in 15 minutes...the remaining guests must be coming in any time by now." Almost on cue, a new round of specialists and witches entered and the hall filled up to its maximal capacity.
A little later than 7pm sharp Florence stepped to the middle of the entrance door. "Good evening my fairy students, and of course a warm welcome to all the students from the Cloud Tower and the Red Fountain. I hope you had a pleasant journey to our school and will have an even more pleasant stay at our annual ball to welcome our new fairies this semester. I don't want to hold you up any longer, so I'll say enjoy and have nice chats with everyone! Roxy, me and all the other staff too will be here with you, so if you have concerns or problems, just walk up to us!"
Everyone applauded and the hall fell into one loud babble again.
"Treasa, wanna get some drinks?" Alora asked happily and Treasa nodded, looking at the other two. "Some bowl?"
Cécilia and Minu nodded in unison, so Alora and Treasa went their way.
They stood in a small line before they too were able to pour some drinks into cups. Alora put one down while grabbing a new cup to fill it up. Alora turned around a little too swiftly and collided with someone, the alcoholic drink spilling over both. She gasped and looked up at the specialist that looked just as lost. "Oh my god, I'm so so sorry." She put down the half-empty cups and mumbled some magic words before the stains on both of their outfits vanished. "That's so embarrassing, I'm sorry."
"No no it's alright, good thing you're a fairy!" he stated with a soft giggle, "You're a fairy, right? Or are you a witch?"
"Uhhhh I'm gonna go." Treasa held up a third cup she just refilled and signalized that she'd leave the two alone.
