"Hey do you wanna hangout sometime?? It's been awhile since we rode a lion together or went out somewhere," Connie said happily.

It took everything in Steven to not scoff.

"Um I'm really busy right now and I'm going on a trip soon," Steven relied

"Oh really sounds fun, is the trip something related to the gems?" Connie asked.

"No.. its not its just something for myself," Steven said

"Oh..." Connie said

Why does she sound disappointed....

She's obviously using me ugh

"Well we should hangout before you leave. I will come over in like an hour," Connie said and hung up.

What the hell she probably thinks I still like her... Autumn is way better than her.. I should call Autumn and meet up with her before we go to the gang meeting tomorrow. Steven thought an texted Autumn

Steven: Hey Autumn wanna meet up and eat some breakfast before the meeting tom?

Autumn: Sure!! Btw the twins and Emily wanna come along. Is that okay??

Steven: Yeah that's cool

Autumn: Oh yeah and check the gc for the time. It starts at 11 am so lets meet up at 8

Steven: That sounds good to me. Let's meet in front of the beach

Autumn: Okay see you tomorrow<3

Steven looked at the heart and blushed smiling until he saw a notification from Connie saying she just started going to his house

I should walk back to my house before she sees the gems...

Steven ran up to his house and saw the gems.

"STEVE NNNN where were you," Pearl asked.

"Hey guys I was just taking a walk you guys need to chill," Steven said calmly

"Yeah Pearl, no need to overreact," Amethyst said. "We just thought you were still upset about stuff that happened recently," Amethyst started to mumble, being uncomfortable herself.

"I'm fine but Connie is coming," Steven said. All the gems looked excited. It's been awhile since Connie has come over. Just as Pearl was about to say something Connie came through the door.

"Hi Connie," Garnet said

"Hi Steven!!! Hi Guys!," Connie said smiling. Everyone looked so happy except Steven he was annoyed.
