"Where are we going, then?" I asked the short boy as he walked me out of my neighborhood, and towards wherever the fuck we were going.
"We could go buy some stuff, or take it, go back to my place, watch some movies," he shrugged and adjusted his trilby hat that was falling over his face. "Maybe make out later." He shot me a sly grin and I just slapped his shoulder.
"You wish, Iero." I laughed at him. Was he flirting with me? And was I flirting back with him? Wow.
"Don't tempt me, baby," He nudged my ribs and I laughed at him. "You got a nice ass." Frank winked at me and I reddened again. He linked his arm in mine and began to skip.
"What the fuck." I laughed at him. Since I was attached to him, I was forced to half skip half run to keep up with him. He's pretty fast for a short guy. He was leading me in the direction of a small store by the gas station. "Why here?" I asked him.
"They have skittles here," he continued his skipping, which was beginning to tire me out. I'm not exactly in shape. "I like skittles."
"Dude," I wrinkled my nose at him. "They have skittles, like, everywhere." We could have gone anywhere nicer than a gas station for skittles.
"I don't care," he snorted at me. "The guy here is nice, he gives me beer sometimes." He said the last part like it was nothing. Like it was totally normal for a sixteen year old kid to be getting beer from some random guy at a store.
"That's lovely," I said sarcastically and he scoffed at me. We entered the little store. Inside there was a middle-aged guy working behind the counter. He was kind of chubby, more than Frank, and had a thick mustache that looked like he had a baby squirrel living on him.
He muttered a "hey" at us and Frank walked straight to the candy isle. There was a whole box of skittles there, completely full with packages of the candy. Frank grabbed the entire box. "Dude, do you really need that much?" I laughed at him.
"I'll probably finish it in a few days," he picked up the whole bow, which was pretty large and he had a difficult time carrying it. Frank put it down on the counter in front of the guy. "You got any beer?"
The guy nodded and he pulled out a whole case. "You can have this one, boy." Frank smiled like a four year old and pulled out the money for his skittles.
We walked out the store with me carrying the skittles, and him the case of beer. "You can have some of those, they aren't all for me." I shook my head. "Take the skittles you twink!" He laughed at me.
"Fine!" I sighed and grabbed a few out of the box and shoving them into my hoodie pockets "Where to now?"
"My house," he winked at me and I blushed. "My mom's pretty nice, you'll like her."
"Not as cool as my mom." I joked.
"You wish!" Frank slapped my arm with his free hand and I giggled at him.
