Frank stayed with me all the rest of the day, even into the night. We cuddled on my bed and he hummed little melodies to me, even singing some stuff he made up.
He'd wrapped up my arm with a bandage and gave it a kiss. I dressed in my favorite pajamas that had little octopuses on them.
At about ten at night he asked me something. "Do you want to go out for dinner?" I turned around to face my boyfriend in confusion.
"Frank it's ten o'clock at night," I raised my eyebrow at him. "Aren't you tired?" Seriously, I wasn't that tired then since I slept the whole day, but he was awake the whole time.
"Sleep is for the weak, baby," He grinned widely at me and stepped out of bed. "Come on, let's get dinner."
My stomach sank slightly. Food. We were going out to eat together. I didn't really want to eat, but my stomach was twisting with hunger pains. I knew I had to try. I would do it for Frank.
"Okay," I finally agreed, sleepily stepping onto the ground. "But I'm wearing these pants and I really don't want to get dressed."
"You're fine," Frank assured me, getting on his toes to give me a kiss. "They're cute on you." I blushed and grabbed my hoodie from my closet to put on over my pajama shirt.
"Alright," I smiled and grabbed his hand, walking out of my room. "Were should we go, then, it's pretty late."
We headed out my front door before he finally responded. "Those little fancy cafes are still open at this time, we could go there."
"Frank, those are really fuckin expensive," I didn't really understand fancy places. The food portions were so small, but cost more money then probably a fucking computer or something. "How would you afford that?"
Frank smiled at me. "I got quite a lot of money saved up, we'll be fine." He assured me and we skipped together down my neighborhood street, towards the main part of the city.
It was dark outside, but I felt safe with Frank holding onto my hand. It was even pretty warm for nighttime, maybe my pants were just making it feel that way.
We skipped happily through the shops,. There were a few people, but there were mostly just couples out, probably coming home from their dates, while me and Frank were just heading towards ours.
Frank stopped us in front of a fancy cafe that had delicious pastries. "Is here good?" He turned to look at me, raising his eyebrow.
"I love this place!" I giggled and ran inside, pulling him with me.
Inside the cafe, a lot of the table were lit with cute little scented candles with the dim lights hanging overhead. It smelled like bread and coffee, my favorite smell. I breathed it in and ran over to the counter where all the different foods were sold.
A particularly large chocolate cupcake caught my attention. "Frank!" I giggled excitedly to him. "Look at that one!"
Frank leaned in and looked at it. "Holy shit!" He gaped open-mouthed at it. "That looks delicious, you want it?"
"Oh, I don't know it looks kind of expensive, for a cupcake." I glanced over at the price tag next to it, which read twenty-two dollars.
"I'm getting it, I want it too," Frank took out his wallet and started counting the bills.
"You, don't have to-" I started but he cut me off with a kiss.
"It's all yours Gee, baby."
