(((lmao shopping vibes)))
Frank and I went back to his house after I'd asked him to prom and we had sex in the car.
I soon got a text from Joshua, asking me to come tuxedo shopping with him, he was going to prom with Vincent, of course.
"Me and Joshua are going shopping, see you in a few hours," I kissed Frank on the forehead.
"Why can't I go with you?" He whined, grabbing onto my hand as I was trying to leave.
"Because," I wriggled out of his grip. "I want my prom outfit to be a surprise, okay baby?"
"Fine," He sighed, curling up on his bed with a math book, doing his homework. I smiled at him and grabbed my wallet, walking out of his room.
Outside the house, Joshua was waiting for me in his car. "Hey," I greeted him, getting inside and waiting for him to start driving.
"Oh hi," Joshua put down the book he was reading and started the car. "So, you ready to go to the mall?"
"Oo girl you know it," I faked one of those girl voices that they use for some weird reason.
Joshua laughed at me and started driving in the direction of the mall.
*****&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&*****
The prom store was already filled with loads of girls, traveling in packs to buy their dresses.
There were barely any guys, and they were either on their own or in twos. A bright red dress caught my eye and I pointed it out to Joshua.
"This would look great on you, don't you think?" I giggled and he rolled his eyes at me.
"If anyone is the overly gay friend here, it's you," He walked off in the direction of the tuxes.
"You're no fun," I pouted, trailing after him. I caught a few girls watching Joshua, and giggling if his gaze went near them.
I didn't blame them, Joshua is pretty good looking, I guess. "All the girls like you," I poked his arm.
"What?" He looked confused, staring over at one of the groups of girls, who gasped when he made eye contact with them. "Too bad for them, I have a boyfriend." Joshua shrugged and looked at a dark green tux.
"That's too bright," I wrinkled my nose at it.
"Dude," Joshua turned to look at me. "It's dark green, that's as dark as you can get for green."
"What about that one?" I pointed to an even darker green. Joshua looked at the price tag and walked away.
"That's a nope from me." He sighed. I picked it up. The tux was fucking three hundred sixty nine dollars.
"Wow," I breathed, dropping the sleeve.
We were in there for almost two hours, just looking for something that really caught our eyes.
Joshua found quite a few that he liked, but I always found some way to talk him out of them.
He seemed to be going for the ones that weren't gray or black, like I wanted. If it wasn't dark, I wasn't having it.
"But it looks so good!" Joshua whined when I pulled him away from a dark red tux that he'd been drooling over.
"Why can't you just get black?" I sighed.
"Black is too mainstream." He wrinkled his nose, staring behind me at the red tux.
"Black is great, shut up," I stopped to examine one that was a very dark gray. It looked nice, But I don't want to be confused with some old business man.
"You can't tell me what to do, mom," Joshua giggled, running back over to the red tux. "I'm getting this one and you can't do shit about it!"
I sighed and kept strolling through the rows and rows of tuxedos, until one stood out for me.
It was black, of course, but there was something that made it stand out besides the others.
There was a small dove patch sewn onto it.
I completely disregarded the price tag and picked it up, walking towards Joshua, who was waiting in line behind some girls that were holding giant and poofy pink dresses.
He rolled his eyes at my color choice. "You are so boring, Gerard, can't you at least get something, like, dark purple?"
"Nope," I shook my head. "This one is mine, my precious!" He laughed at me and we walked up the the counter to pay for our tuxes.
