(31.) Zoos Smell Like Actual Shit

The next day, my mom was going to take us to the zoo. I loved animals so naturally I was really excited.

As soon as I woke up, I was bouncing on me and Frank's bed, trying to wake him up. He kept groaning and telling me to go back to sleep.

"No!" I shouted excitedly in his face. "We're going to the zoo today!" I took a giant leap off the bed, landing clumsily on my feet.

"Get your lazy ass up Frank!" I ran around the room grabbing my clothes for the day, getting changed faster than I ever had before.

By the time I was fully dressed, Frank was just getting out of bed to stretch his arms. "Dammit Frank!" I whined. "You're so slow!"

"Sorry," he grumbled, reaching up to ruffle my hair. "I'm a little tired from last night, you know?" I nodded and grabbed some of his clothes off the floor and shoving them into his arms.

"Hurry up, Iero!" I ran out of the room, not bothering to shut the door. I heard him sigh and shut it behind me.

I shoved open the door to the main cabin, running inside and squealing happily like teenage girl.

Mikey, Cole, and my mom were sitting at the table, eating breakfast. Mikey had cornflakes and Cole was just drinking Milk.

My mom had a book and an apple. "Hi, what's for breakfast?" I asked jumping around the kitchen.

Mikey laughed at me. "Yeah, we have, like, leftover spaghetti or something." I opened the fridge and pulled it out, stuffing the food into the microwave.

A few minutes later, Frank walked in, looking tired and rubbing his eyes. He sat down next to me and grabbed some of my spaghetti while I was eating it.

When we'd all finished eating, my mom rushed us out the door and back into the car to drive to the zoo.

I jumped out of the car and rushed towards the gates of the zoo. Frank trailed close behind, trying to keep up with me.

"Woah," he wrinkled his nose. "Zoos smell like actual shit." I giggled at him and grabbed into his hand, making him smile happily.

My mom walked to the window to pay for us to get in. Mikey and Cole were standing by, holding hands and kissing a shitload.

My mom walked over to us, handing out the tickets. As soon as I had mine, I dragged Frank over to the entrance.

The lady working there smiled and let us in.

I looked around the zoo, taking in the sight of all the animals there. The first thing that caught my eye were the large white and black animals.

I let out a loud screech and raced over to them, dragging my boyfriend along with me. "Frank!" I yelled, turning around to face him. "Look! Pandas!"

"Aww," he giggled looking at them. There were two inside, one was large and chubby, while the other was smaller and slightly thinner. "So cute!"

They were cuddled up next to each other, the smaller one leaning his head on the other. "I want one!" I squealed, looking at Frank.

"Me too, baby," He laughed. "Who wouldn't want pandas?"

"I know right," I turned to looked back at the black and white animals.

"Mom!" I whined. "They're only thirty dollars each!" There was a giant panda stuffed animal that was almost the size of Frank in the gift shop.

"Thirty dollars too much," she snorted at me, walking away from the item to look around the store.

"I'll buy it," Frank suggested lifting it up and over his shoulder. "I have money."

"Oh my gosh, thank you so much Frank!" I whispered to him, wrapping my arms around him at the cash register.

"It's fine," He smiled, standing on his toes to give me a quick kiss. "Just because I love you."

"I love you too, Frank."
