It didn't take long for both Steve and Bucky to return back to baileys house, almost scaring her to death as they entered.

Bailey found out that Bucky found Steve involved in yet another alley fight against some big guy, not winning either. Steve said that it wasn't his fault though, the guy he fought was complaining about the commercial to serve in the war at the movies.

The girl would've done the same though. To know a grown man was disrespecting the service that some men are risking their lives to do made her fume, especially since the love of her life was one of those men.

"I heard you beat someone's ass today?" Steve said in a questioning tone, not finding it true that Bailey would actually do that. "Bucky said it was Martino."

Bailey nodded her head, holding out her arm to show him the bruise that was forming from one of the hits she took. "Damn right I did." She said, watching as Steve's eyes grew wide. "Being the one fixing wounds is fun, but giving them is fun too."

Steve nodded while Bucky laughed. "Yeah, well I don't want to get a letter in the mail saying you beat someone up again." Bucky said, "you'll worry me."

"Like I don't already." She laughed, "now where exactly are we going tonight? You never said."

"The future."

Steve had left and gone home a little bit ago to clean up himself after his fight, leaving just Bailey and Bucky.

Bailey could see the look in Bucky's eyes that he was still worried, except she couldn't find out why he was worried.

"Buck what wrong?" She asked, standing behind him as he leaned on the kitchen counter and gave him a hug. "You look like somethings bothering you."

Bucky sighed, turning around and lifting her to sit on the counter. "Just worried." He said, his hands resting on her hips.

"About what?"

"Everything." He said, "I'm worried about Becca. She was having a really hard time at home before. I hate seeing her upset like that, mostly because I never have."

Bailey frowned, putting her arms around him and pulling him close. "She's going to be ok, buck." She reassure him, "becks a smart girl. Sure, she might be more careful about her love life decisions, but shes going to be ok."

Bucky's head made its way to baileys shoulder as he attempted to hide his tears, but Bailey just held him tightly and ran her fingers through his hair she tried to do exactly what he would do to her when she was upset.

"It's alright, buck." She whispered, "I love you."

Bucky lifted his face and smiled, baileys thumbs wiping the few tears trickling down his cheeks. "I love you too Bailey girl." He said, giving her a normal hug now. "I'm sorry for that.. by the way."

Bailey laughed. "Don't be sorry, I've learned from the best how to deal with it." She said, giving him a kiss.

Bucky deepened the kiss, their mouths moving in sync. But, unfortunately, they actually had somewhere to be soon, so they both pulled away to breathe.

"To be continued." Bucky said with a smirk.

"Well of course, anything for sergeant Barnes." Bailey smiled. "Now let's go to the future."

Bailey looked around in awe as she entered the stark expo. The different colored lights glowed in the dark night like a light show.

"This is beautiful." She smiled, not speaking to anyone in particular.

Bucky smiled, putting his big hand in her little one. "I'm glad." He said, "now Steve, I got you a date."

Steve groaned. He was never into these things Bucky would do for him. Bailey knew he just wanted to find a girl that he likes himself.

"What'd you tell her about me.." Steve hesitantly asked.

"Only the good stuff." Bucky smirked. "Look, there she is."

The three of their eyes landed on a girl who stood waiting. Her light brown hair managed to glow in the lights, which made Bailey a bit insecure that Bucky had been talking to that girl. But, she trusted Bucky with her life.

Through the night, the girl Bucky got for Steve didn't seem too interested in Steve. She was judging him based off his size and ignoring his good personality. Instead, the girl was trying to hit on Bucky.

Bucky was smart though. He ignored the girl the best he could, keeping his attention on bailey. But Bailey was getting annoyed with her. This was one of the reasons that being friends with another female was just impossible for her, they always cause problems.

"Look! It's starting!" Bailey said, pointing up to the stage where Howard Stark stood, a candy red car in the center.

The group of four made their way to the stage and stood at the bottom, Bailey in front of Bucky holding his broad arms that were around her.

"Ladies and gentlemen, what if I told you that in just a few short years, your automobile won't even have to touch the ground at all." Howard's said, motioning to the candy red car while his helpers removed the cars wheels.

Bailey curiously watched the man and his car, watching as it slowly began to lift off of the ground and into the air. "Whoa." Bucky whispered, she could practically hear the smile he had on his face.

But when the car went crashing down into the stage, Bailey jumped back into Bucky's chest and tightened her grip on his arm. "It's alright." Bucky said to her with a small laugh.

Bailey sighed and nodded her head, looking back up at the stage to see Howard standing there trying to laugh it off. "I did say a few years, didn't I?" Howard said, the curtains closing as he spoke.

"Steve how about we treat these lovely ladies to a da-" Bucky began to say, turning to see Steve was completely gone. "Steve?"

Bailey looked around and saw Steve's date that Bucky got him was walking away almost relieved, which made her upset. "Where do you think he went?" She asked Bucky as they walked around the fair. "And that girl chose the wrong day to mess with Steve.. I might just go find her to punch her."

Bucky laughed, putting his arm around her waist and smiling. "Wait, you!" Bailey heard as Howard stark came her way.

The couple stopped and looked at Howard. He looked like he had an idea, but she didn't know him well at all to know what his looks mean. "Yeah?" Bailey asked, feeling Bucky tense up at her side.

"Your Doctor Connors right? From New York General?" Howard asked, "I've seen your records, not too bad for the new guy.. well, girl."

Bailey nodded. "Yeah, that's me." She said, "but it's not every day you get approached by Howard stark so I'm gonna need an explanation."

Howard laughed and looked over to Bucky. "I'm not hitting on her Sergeant, don't worry." Howard said.

How'd he know Bucky?

"Oh, I've been snooping around the files. Colonel Phillips is making me stick around for his projects." Howard said after seeing their confused faces. "But that's not why I'm here. This is for you, just to consider it." He said, handing bailey a letter and nodding his head. "Look forward to seeing you there if that's what you chose."

And with that, Howard was off.

"What's that?" Bucky asked as both him and Bailey stared at the letter.

"I have no idea."
